I placed my first order with them this month. I ordered on the 17th and they shipped on the 23rd. A couple items I ordered were on backorder which is why it didn't ship immediately. I haven't received the order yet, but I'm on the other side of the country, so it may be a few days.

I've placed several orders with Dick Blick. It seems like it usually takes about 5-7 business days to receive my order.
I got a Dick Blick gift certificate for christmas, so I thought I would check out their brick and mortar store when I was visiting in Columbus, Oh. Wow! Awesome store and over the top prices!!! I asked a sales person why there was so much difference in the prices between online vs. store. She didn't know.
I suppose it illustrates just how much over head a store has and how it is reflected in prices.
Anyway, I got to look at what I wanted to order and then went home and ordered it online. Even factoring in shipping costs I still saved alot of money by ordering online. Actually I do about 90% of my shopping online. Stores are too much of a hassle trying to find the best deal, hoping to get a "coupon" and then driving there only to find they are out of stock.

I LOVE Dick Blick. It does take 5-7 business days, but I've never had a problem with them. Their CS is great! I can spend some serious money in that store. All kinds of paper and ink mediums!!!!!!

Good thing to know about blick is when there is a problem they fix it right away.
I am very pleased with their Customer service Dept.

I've ordered from them a number of times and they always ship very quickly. I am in Canada so I expect my orders to take a full two weeks to get here but my Dick Blick orders usually arrive quicker than others from the US.

I've had great experience with DB.
Also, if you sign up for an ebates account, you can earn yourself an % of what you spend online as a rebate. I use ebates all the time. If you refer your friends, you can earn a bonus.
