Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending May 29, 2011
Hello and welcome to the Clean and Simple (or CAS for short) Favorites of the Week thread! This is the place where we celebrate the CAS style by linking to our favorite projects from the past week's gallery uploads.
EVERYONE IS INVITED to share their links...newbies, please jump right in!
I'll get us started with these fabulous finds.
mocjen's sweet and simple card blew me away with its fab layout and use of white space
Heather T, the queen of sponging, made a gloriously beautiful Fern Frond card...and wrote her own sentiment!
ejkeaton's Good Grief card made me laugh out loud and took me straight back to childhood...so very clever!
limedoodle posted a Thank You Kindly card that shows brilliant use of color and punches; she also posted this all white stunner
cookiebaker made a sympathy card that is simply perfect
biggan makes this list virtually every week, and this week is no exception with her Number 1 star card, which is beyond creative and artistic; also, her Bring on the Bling card showed how the distressed, artsy look and CAS can work together perfectly!
cmcmathey CASE'd the delightfully CAS Carly Robertson and made a wonderful Thinking about You card
criminal grace used her toddler's art to make some fabulous cards...I love how she pulled a bold color from the art for the base and matted the panel in black
antje's Celebrate Today card shows that layers can still be clean and simple...beautifully so
artystamper posted a Doily Thanks card that is simply fabulous for its use of colors and white space and embossing and a single tiny bit of bling
rosigrld knows how to make a butterfly pop with white space (lots of it!) and lots of bling and a great monochromatic color
Understand Blue sponged a sky in a label and made a gloriously soft window to beauty
fionna51 did some seriously deep embossing to make a lovely and elegant wedding card
A big, huge thank you to each and every stamper who shares her or his work here at SCS. SCS is the amazing place it is because so many people generously share their time, talent, and inspiration.
Also, for those of us in the USA, I wish you all a safe, happy Memorial Day weekend. Please take time to reflect on the meaning of the holiday and honor those who have given all they had for freedom...the freedom we and others around the world enjoy. To everyone who has put on a uniform anywhere at any time and served the cause of freedom, I thank you.
Wow such an honor Susan. Thank you for picking out my Thank You Kindly card and my White on White card too. As always thanks Karen for letting me know - a lovely suprise after a day dashing around after the kids!

Oh, wow!! I had no idea that my Good Grief card would create such a stir. It was so basic, I almost didn't even upload it to my gallery. Thanks to Susan (LateBlossom) and superjen for naming it to their favorites this week. And thanks to the tireless Karen Dunbrook for letting me know that I was featured here x 2!! You've made my day, ladies!!!!
