Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending January 9, 2011
Welcome to the Clean and Simple Favorites thread! The gallery is off to an amazing start this year, so let's share the awesome Clean and Simple (or CAS, to use the keyword) projects we favorited this past week.
Everyone is invited to join us...either by posting links if you have CAS favorites or by leaving comments for CAS cards linked here. The more who participate, the more fun we have!
Here are my favorites from the last week to get us started.
Aimes made a great Happy Happy Birthday Boy card that used glossy accents on the fun polka dot banner
bon2stamp used her leftovers from the CAS kissing challenge to make a card with two birds kissing (literally)...too pretty and clever!
TheresaCC sponged perfectly and arranged her sweet outdoor scene on her You Brighten My Day card perfectly, too
raindropecho turned doilies into a Christmas tree and used pink pearl and ribbon accents...so very pretty!
love5523 used shades of yellow and perfectly tied twill on her one-layer fabulous card
cmcmathey created a soft yellow backdrop for her glittery yellow flower using paint to keep her card at one layer for the OLW challenge
mandypandy used Lovely as a Tree to make a fabulous masculine card that shows lots of texture and clean style
mamamostamps posted a warm and wonderful kraft card with crisp white and red for her Love Notes 1 card
wiggydl kissed and sponged her way to a lovely friendship card
Tami Mayberry took crisp and clean to a whole new level with her Always Have Always Will card
hskelly's fuzzy black felt heart is the perfect backdrop for her popped spools of thread
ltecler used pink, kraft, and chocolate with just the perfect touches of white for her Warm Thoughts card
ReginaBD showed how a simple, striking color scheme keeps a design clean even when using toile images and a bunch of die-cut butterflies!
Thanks so much to all who participate in the community here at SCS. All the sharing, all the chatting, all the art really makes this such a special place full of inspiration!
Thanks for mentioning my card, TrishG! I am honored!

Thank you so much susanbri for mentioning my Kissing Hearts CAS card as a favorite for this week. Do you ever make a card and immediately love it? I liked this one so well that I am using it for a hostess club project. Don't we all have just so much fun?!? Thanks again......you just made my week :-)
Lisa, I'm honored that such a fabulous CAS cardmaker lists one of my cards as a CAS favorite this week - THANKYOU!! And thanks for letting me know, while poor Karen was down with flu. Karen, hope you're already feeling much, much better!
Thank you so much for including my card, and thanks for the link to this forum! I am still a newbie to SCS, and this is my first time in this forum. Thank you, Lisa-you made my night!
Can this day get any better? Thank you Fionna51 for mentioning my red/Gray flower card and Thank you Trish G for letting me know. It made a wonderful day even better. We got the results of my husbands MRI, and they not only stopped the growth of his brain tumor, it shrank!!!! Praise the Lord. Oh yeah, and my mammogram came of fine. Good News all around
