Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for Week Ending 2/2/14
Happy Groundhog Day. Sure hoping that when he comes out of his hole he does NOT see his shadow, because winter has really overstayed its welcome this year. As the sign in front of the church said, "Whoever is praying for snow, please stop!"
It's been a month since I proposed we make a group resolution to each try to include a new-to-you stamper to your favorites list sometime during each month. I can't tell you how happy I am to see that so many of you took me up on the suggestion.
But enough with the chit-chat. Here are some of the new additions to my favorites folder from this past week. My list is long, but I'm sure I still missed some great ones. Can�t wait to see which others caught YOUR eye!
FS364 Forest Fern by catluvr2 The beautiful colors and texture in this card really caught my eye. Mix52 Warm Copper Birthday by nancy littrell Nancy's leaf is just gorgeous in front of her Watercolor Wonder DSP.
Hello Butterfly by Loll Thompson This was my favorite of all the beauties Loll posted this week from the online stenciling course she took. I love the soft colors, texture and the delicate die cut butterfly. TLC466 Love by Holstein I really liked how Linda incorporated her sentiment into the stem of her flower, as well as the scripted heart layered with the blossom. CAS Collage by stamping_mynn (***New-to-me Stamper***) I love the fresh colors on this card and the balance between the collage and the white space. SC473 Vanilla Love by octoberbabe I have seen some pretty white on white cards, but REALLY love the added warmth of the vanilla on vanilla.
Happy New Home by livelys (***New-to-me Stamper***) This card just plain made me smile!
Homestyle Goodies Card by hlw966 I love the mod little heart tree and the unexpected color combo.

Bridget's big heart provides the perfect background for her comforting sentiment.

Need help linking your Favorites?
Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in yourfirst browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Goto the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top,highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+Vto paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as manytimes as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check thatyour links work. Then click the Submit Reply button

Lisa, I so very much appreciate you listing my Tropical Dreams card as one of your CAS faves this week.
Unfortunately Wiarton Willie (Canada's groundhog prognosticator) saw his shadow and we still have 6 more weeks of winter...sigh...so any tropical weather will indeed just be a dream

I didn't get a chance to look at the whole week's gallery entries, but I found some "lovelies" in the last few days. I hope there aren't repeats�.but that just means that card is a super favorite!

Good morning, all! I had a lot of fun this week taking the online stencil course so was particularly watching the gallery for cards done by other partcipants in the course or that used stencils. Here are some of my favourite CAS cards with stencils:
I love Debbie's suggestion that we try to include one "new-to-me" stamper each week - I always seem to find more than one which is great news for me as it means I'm finding lots of new stampers to inspire me!
