Another very creative week. Enjoy and please add your CAS favorite's too.
This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists. There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...
--------------------------------
And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point
--------------------------------
...and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button
Thanks so much Susan for mentioning my CTS sketch challenge embossed paste card. I am loving the technique. I can't wait to get back tomorrow to the thread to spend quality time on all your fav's. TFS
Thank you Nancy! And especially because you mentioning mine gave me an excuse to get to look through the gallery. It's been a CRAZY busy week and I've hardly got to do anything just for the fun of it. This was fun!
Wow! This week added a lot of beautiful cards to my favorites.
I have the beauties that are already mentioned made by: swldebbie stampinscotsgirl Arizona Maine Loll Thompson artsy_em GWTW Junkie #Francine uncbballfan
But wait...there's more!
k dunbrook

pdncurrier
this SAB stamp set now calls my name...beautiful card
Arizona Maine
lovely way to use the designer paper...without losing the clean look
hlw966
cute snowmen...and the crayon gave a unique background
I agree with you, Heidi, about being sick of winter. Bring on spring!
I had quite a few from this month's Fan Club gallery, but since not everyone can see those, I didn't include them. If you aren't a Fan Club member, I'd encourage you to check that out . The Dirty Dozen gals do a wonderful gallery every month, just for Fan Club members. Plus, there's other perks!
Hope you have a great week...and that things warm up for you...soon!
Several of my favorites have already been listed. It seems like we were drawn to many of the same cards this week. Other weeks is seems to me like we're all looking at different galleries entirely. Fun!
Here are some of mine that haven't yet been mentioned:
Oh thank you very much Susan for mentioning my "There's a hole..." card as a favourite this week! Thanks also to Karen for letting me know. It is SO much appreciated!
Sue, I'm so happy you liked my "Flower Power" card and gave it a mention today. Thank you! It was a fun card to make.

Thanks so very much JodyLynn, for including my card in this fabulous list of favs. That card was a last minute creation and I was pleased with how it turned out looking so fun.
hugs,
Karen
Thank you, thank you, thank you! to Nancy and Diane for including my Garden of Love card on your favorites lists this week. Just got word this morning that, in spite of all the east coast snow these past few days, the card arrived on time and my niece loved it.
Here are my CAS favorites from this past week: Clean and Simple Valentine by kittie747 This beauty reminds me of Valentines of years past, with it's rose, heart and "lacy" heart border. And yet, it remains perfectly CAS.
Thousand Reasons To Love You by #Francine *** NEW TO ME STAMPER *** I loved the stitched look edge and how the die cut was lifted for dimension. But mostly, I loved how that little tiny red heart was the star of the card.
More Birthday Wishes by Loll Thompson (must be fan club member to view) Loved Loll's delicate wreath with it's pretty flowers, but really loved how the border embossing stepped the card up a notch.
Hello Sunshine by lisaadd (must be fan club member to view) This sunny card is perfect! I almost felt like I could feel the warmth as I looked at it.
So long by ~Fee~ Sylvia's design elements were perfect for a long card. Perfect card for the man of your dreams.
Sunny Daisy by Arizona Maine I loved the fresh colors and patterns on Angela's whimsical card.
Garden View by d dunbrook LOVE the BG on Karen's card and how her flowers go from soft (fuzzy) at the top to more crisp at the bottom.
Stencil and Paste by nancy littrell I really liked the unexpected shape of the focal panel on this card. It really pulls things together and makes this one a winner.

Many thanks to Chautona for mentioning my card and to Karen for letting me know. It's been a long time since I've uploaded any cards, and even longer since I've been in the CAS favorites thread. I had forgotten how great it feels!

I was looking at the VSN mini cards, and picked some wonderful CAS designs. The first 2 were actually done before last weekend's favorite thread, but I hadn't seen them yet. I hope the mods don't come after me!
Thanks for the shout out, Susan! I'm so glad you liked this card that was almost trash! Thank you Karen for letting me know! I appreciate the time and love you all show in this thread each week.
Thank you SO much MarianneLamb for including me in the CAS favorites this week! I'm thrilled to be mentioned among all the talent in the SCS gallery! Thank you too, Karen, for the notification!
I'm such a dummy ! I don't usually do CAS cards and forgot that the Honey Blossoms and Roses is listed as a CAS card.
Susan (susanbri), I'm so honored that you favored the Honey Blossoms and Roses card! Especially for adding it to the CAS Favorites forum. Thank you so very much for this honor.
I hope you will forgive my lateness in thanking you. If you ever get a hold of this translucent film, give it a try, it's a fun product to work with.
And a big Thank you to Karen for the notification!
May everyone be blessed with a beautiful and creative week!
Susan, thanks so much for including my triple stamped card. It was one of those rare cards I've had in mind that worked out even better than I'd hoped!
Thank you so much Debbie (Swldebbie), Diane (Fionna51) and Chautona (also for the lovely comment on my gallery) for mentioning my card "Thousand reasons to love you"! And Karen, you're so sweet: thanks for letting me know!
Thank you Nancy (Nancy Littrell) for mentioning my air smashed posies in your CAS faves list! I appreciate it. Thanks Karen for letting me know.
