A few months ago there was a notice somewhere that we could contribute toward gifts to the SCS Volunteers by accessing Amazon.com from this site. How can we do that? I've looked all over SCS to find an Amazon portal.
I can get there from your sig, but there is no place I find Amazon on the link you provided, and that's the same problem I had in December. WHERE on that SCS opening page might I find it? I'm not wanting to be a pest, but I think if I can't get there, others may be missing out too, in which case Volunteers are missing out!
Ah,now I found it. I had to scroll down to the bottom. I'm on an iMac and that must make a difference. On a Windows screen, it shows, but on an iMac screen, or any other over-20 inch screen, the window must be scrolled down to see Amazon on the right.
I am glad you posted your question Bahb. I don't often shop Amazon and when I do it is not at Christmas time, which is the time of year I thought the only time "make it a Moddy Christmas" applied. I am pleased to know it goes on all year and will look for that feature next time I shop Amazon.
All the volunteers so deserve being thought of this way, they all do such a nice job making this site a happy place to be!
I didn't know this could be done all year either and my husband shops there often so I'll have to guide him through the right steps for our volunteers.

All you have to do is click the link on the home page and then shop like normal. As long as you check out within 24 hours, Amazon gives a small % to Splitcoast for our mods
This is a great idea & perhaps it should be put in a prominent place on the homepage of how to do this worthy thing for volunteers. Also your link refers only to Christmas maybe it should be changed as well!

That sounds easy enough even for ME to do. Thanks for explaining, and I'm soooo happy someone asked the question in the first place. (Wish I would have known about this when I bought 3 books for my Kindle the other day. :-( )
