Default Another plea for "sentimental" help

A young lady who did her veterinary internship two years ago at the hospital I work was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her liver and spine. She is only 30 years old. Everyone is heart broken by the news. To send her love and encouragement I went through my vast collection of cards and took out all the "think of yous" and "friends" cards. I also purchased the stamps for the cards. I plan to bring them to work for anyone who wishes to send a card to her. All they will need to do is address the envelope and, since most of the cards are blank on the inside, write a sentiment of some sort. Since that could be difficult for some, not knowing what to write, I turn to you guys for suggestions. I did print out some ideas from the "quote garden" web site but would appreciate any suggestions splitcoast stampers may have. Thanks.

What a kind, generous and thoughtful gesture you have done for your co-workers and your intern who has been diagnosed with cancer. I think this is a wonderful idea. I would let people write whatever is in their hearts and if you have sentiment examples (quote garden) that would be nice to share, too. I am so sorry someone you know has to face this journey.

So sorry to hear this. I lost my husband to cancer when I was 40. It was devasting to say the least. But the heartfelt notes and cards he received made his day. I am sure they will do the same for your friend. They can write whatever they feel, or recall fun stories or just say they are thinking about her and there if she needs anything.
I am truly sorry for your friend and her journey. But with friends and family I am sure they will help her.

Bev and Winnie thanks for your help.

Winnie, how sad to have lost our husband at such a young age.
