Smile Zentangle

I am just wondering if any one is using Zentangle in their card making and if so I am interested in ideas. Its not that popular in Australia at the moment but USA is its birth place?? Suzanne McNeill has a blog about it but I don't know how to add websites etc

Do a search in the gallery ... you'll find many wonderful examples there.

We had a fun site challenge with this technique - you can see samples here: WT271 - Pen and {Black} Ink (5/20/10) by ruby-heartedmom at Splitcoaststampers

We have some people in the gallery who've done amazing things with it!

Here's the first card I made. I got fairly hooked for a while and now I've taken a bit of a break. tanglepatterns.com is a site I used to go to for patterns then I broke down and bought McNeil's first Zentangle books. It is very addictive and simple enough to teach to your kids. It is also very portable so I'd keep a bag with my paper, pens and books to take along to swim practices, etc. It is a great crossover hobby for a stamper! I like using die-cut pieces that I can use on cards when I'm done, but I've also done bigger pieces that could be framed.

My stamp girls are going to be doing this card on Monday. I am hoping they like this technique as much as I do. I seem to be doing it more and more. It has unlimited possibilities for card making. I have several examples in my gallery.

I am really fascinated with this technique but have never made a card. I do remember one of the weekly challenges here was to create a card in that way so do a search and I am sure you will get some wonderful examples....

Thanks for all the replies, I have certainly got some great ideas from the gallery now, I do like the idea of using die cuts and zentangle them, I really find it a very relaxing time to sit and just doodle.
