Hi all, I thought it would be fun to see everyone's favorites from this year. I just posted mine on my blog last night.
If you have posted yours to you blog please share the link to that post here. If you don't have a blog feel free to link your favorite cards that you made this year from the gallery here.
Ellie - I'm glad you posted this. And, doll, your cards are precious.
I've done a year in a review for a few years running and I love doing it. It helps me see how my craft has evolved (or not). My Catered Crop Recipe challenges are on break for the holidays, but we've been asking folks to link up their favorite cards from 2011 in different themes. This week (through Saturday), we're asking for your favorite Holiday cards. Starting Sunday we'll be asking folks to link up your favorite "encouragement" cards. I haven't done my full year in review yet, but I plan to next week. I'll be sure to check back with Karin's blog hop.
Come join us at our 2011 Spotlight challenges - would love to have your adorable cards with us.
I have not posted on my blog about my own favorite card for the year but I did run through my gallery here and this is the one I picked as my favorite this year.
Thanks for sharing your cards Sharon and Barbara. Love both of your creations.
Sharon, the paper you used is so pretty!!
Barbara, absolutely love the colors you used on the first card and I can see why the second one makes you smile. It's so cute with those bunny slippers.

Thanks for posting this. I will go choose my favorite holiday card now and link it up.
It is funny how it goes sometimes , The cards I really work hard at and put so much time into are the ones that I really Love (maybe it is because I put part of my heart and soul into them) get very little notice like these ones:
Then I had card that WAS so Quick and Easy I almost did not put it up ....I was shocked to see that people really liked it when it took so little time to do it ...
and this card with 0 comments (yes it was super easy) but when I went to delete it ... I saw that it was favorited a few times so I left it in case somebody was going to copy it (much better I am sure ! )
I haven't put anything up for awhile as this past few months life has given me a run for my money, but I have Faith that things will only get better . I so Enjoy looking at everyone's Cards and Creations here on Splitcoast ,So Many Talented people to learn and be inspired from !!! So Thank you all for the joy you bring others !!! Have a Safe and Happy New Year !!!!.....Sherrylynn
oh wow we get to toot our own horn!! *snoopy dances*
for me my fave of all year are my Christmas cards I did this year. I had no help was for me came out easy peasy..
and one other card that I will treasure forever was the last fathers day card I made for my FIL he passed shortly after his fathers day/birthday..
now I will say I did more what it seems like baby diaper cakes than cards.. but, the two I could put on SCS had cards that matched and they are the baby giraffe and dog (cake by itself)
Ladies, thank you for sharing your work!
Ellie - your cards are adorable! Love all of the little detail like stitching, distressing and such. Your coloring is very good, too
Sharon, your cards are so very pretty!
Barbara Jay - that first card took my breath away - it's stunning!
Sue - I had to laugh about the sentiment on your frog card Too cute!
Sabrina, what a variety of cards! Something tells me you're a Snoopy fan
StickUps - I am a tea addict, so your card with a girl having a cup of tea hit home. Your other creations are wonderful, too! The color combos you pick are so nice!
Barbaralynn - my fave is your January card. Simply loved it!
Allansmommy - how talented are you? Your cards have so much eye candy that's subtle, but absolutely gorgeous! Wow!
Julia, your SB pages are amazing!
Fran - lovely, just lovely.
What a great idea for a thread, I enjoyed it immensely

I've belonged to SCS since Aug of 2007 but just started a gallery this year! I guess I'm a procrastinator and also was kind of shy about posting my cards cuz I think my style is perhaps more vintage or collage and it seems not as popular. I took the plunge and also started doing challenges so my gallery has built up quite a bit in the last few months. Here are a couple of my favorites:
Great thread! How fun to check out everyone's creations! This is the first year I have shared my favourite cards on my blog from the previous year. THIS post is my cards from Jan - June and THIS post is my cards from July - Dec. TIA for peeking if you wish
This is an interesting way to look back and celebrate our best cards! Thanks Ellie for beginning the thread.
I didn't have too much time this year for play of the paper kind...but my most favorite card of 2011 is oh, to be Queen. I had such fun making my queen glamourous!
Happy New Year everyone, and may 2012 be filled with many artful detours.
opps, hope my link is fixed before anyone takes a peak.

one thing I've a question on.. I was nosey and saw the love my new paper rack thingy and snooped.. anywho.. doesn't your paper fade? if not how do you keep from fading with it being open like that?
