Your Gallery notices...

I have been wondering for quite awhile how you put your gallery url in your signature and then have it say "My Gallery". Can anyone help me here? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Go to edit signature. Then you type My Gallery. Highlight it, then click on the Insert link (looks like an earth with a chain link). Then you insert the URL of your gallery.

Go to the top of the page and click on "gallery" and then click on "my gallery"

this will take you to your gallery listing.

Copy the URL (Control + C) (The URL is the address at the top of the page beginning with "http://..."

and then go to the top of the page and click on your name

It will pull up another screen where you have different options along the side.

On the left click on signature

Then it will pull up the box where you have your signature (your information that will be posted on the bottom of all your posts)

Go to advanced settings

Type "My Gallery" (or whatever you want it show on the screen"

and then highlight the words with your mouse and click on the hperlink icon (the one that looks like the world sitting on a link)

This pulls up the Explorer User Prompt----where you will place the gallery code that you copied from before by pasting it in....(Control + V)

Hit ok.

Now that word should work as a hyperlink and take anyone directly to your gallery.

I just tried to add a link to my gallery too. I have no idea if it will work. When I previewed the edited signature, it did not look right. I just took it on faith and will hope for the best. Thanks, Geri

Well, It's better. I wanted it bigger and a different font, but I can't seem to do it and keep it short enough. Any ideas? I see others that look like they would be a lot longer that mine.

I, also, would like to know how to change font and color of my signature entries. It almost sounds greedy to ask, since I have finally (with the help of you all) just today, created any signature at all! You are the best.

I have never been able to get this to work --- when I click on the "link" icon all I get is a sound from my computer - no box opens, nothing :(

Ok....

If you click on your name at the top and then click on Signature at the left hand side----you will come to a box---if the box is loaded with the tools along the top (including the hyperlink box) that IS the advanced settings...just continue along above disregarding the click advanced settings button.

Hope this helps those who were stuck on the advanced settings option!
