It is all about perspective here kids....... I wouldn't make a tampon card....but I also wouldn't make a super religious card either. That is the cool thing about SCS, it is quite an interesting mix of crafty ladies, regardless of the theme or medium chosen.
I love this forum and the amazing array of art shared here - I often look at objects around the house for inspiration but until today it never occurred to me that a tampon could be incorporated into paper crafting - I love it when people think outside the box

I think the Bulimia card she made is in bad taste as well due to the fact it is making fun of a life threatening illness that people do DIE from. It is just like making fun of other life-threatening illnesses that affect people. I think some of her cards shpuld not be shared and posted fro everyone to see.
I find the tampon card hilarious. I think some are missing the fact that these cards are posted on HER blog and a person has to go to her blog to see them. They are not being forced on anyone.

Oh I'm not offended by anyone else usually and am not here either. I just think it's silly to be so offended by cards that weren't posted here. She didn't tell you to go and look, it was brought by a third party. Personally I wouldn't use them either but it's funny to see someone having a great time playing.
I think a lot of them are really funny (the tampon one, the cereal one). Some are really offensive, but I guess that's why she hasn't sent me any (LOL).
some things are sacrosanct. I am not a Christian myself, but ANYTHING that has the potential to offend people's beliefs is OUT OF LINE. I actually have nothing good to say about Christianity, but no way in hell would I put down anyone for believing what they do nor make fun of their beliefs.
as for her some of the other topics.. sorry, but some things should never be used as an embellishment and it is possible to be rude and tacky no matter what your sense of humor. some of these cards are in poor taste, period. I don't care how 'funny' some people may see them, or the fact that they were not forced upon us.
I was expecting to see a beautifully made card, or perhaps a witty saying. Not have a sanitary item shoved in my face.
If you didn't like what the cards said after the first one then you shouldn't have looked. There is more to cards then the hearts and flowers, why not how we really feel sometime! I agree with getting the bunched up panties out of certain butts!
