Default Wrought Iron Punch Card

Help!!! Several days ago I saw a card which had the wrought iron punch straight across a piece of CS both at top and bottom (rather than on the corners that we normally see). I thought "hey, I can do this" - WRONG. Now I can't find the card to ask the artist how she did it. Can someone point me to that card TFS

I didn't make the card but if you take the corner guide off of the corner punches you can punch across your card stock in a straight line. Have you tried that?

If you have the wrought iron punch, this "card" shows wonderful ways to trim the corners to get different looks. Check it out-it really shows the versatility of that punch!

Well GEEZ Kathleen, I didn't know those corner guards came off! I was just going to ask you how to take them off when I decided to take a look at my punch first. It just slides right off! I guess you do learn something new every day. Thanks for the tip!

Yes, just slip the guards off. If you look on the side, you will see some hatch marks that will assist you in lining up the punch to get the effect you are looking for. I believe that if you put the mark in the center of the previous punch, it will be exactly next to it when you punch again.

Wow, I'm going to order that punch ASAP now that I've seen the idea sheet. I'll bet I could sell a bunch of punches with that idea sheet as a kicker. Maybe I'll make one and copy it for anyone who orders a punch.

I didn't know part of the punch would come off. I tried it and it did. Yeah. Now I'll see if I can line it up right. Thanks stampers. You are great.
