Imagining a trend towards A1 sized cards. Cards the size of business cards. Tiny stamps. Idea-ology sells little vintage magnifiers to put in the envelope.

Ohhh, I'm ready for that! Have you heard of Leafcutter Designs? Before I started paper crafting I bought some of their parcels and some other things: Gifts Archive - Leafcutter Designs

ETA: they have a tiny magnifying glass in their tiny stationary kit. Great minds, Robin...

OMG... that would be the best thing EVER. LOL

Oh, I just stumbled across them the other day in my search for something or other! I had completely forgotten (at least consciously).

Yes, fascinating website and the idea of tiny mail... maybe an idea whose time has come. So adorable. And we seem to be entering the "adorable" craftiverse. ;)!

There are so many companies that make products for other companies. It's like buying generic store brand veggies that were actually canned by Del Monte. It's a win-win and if putting the TH name on product boosts sales for both companies. There has been many times where some company brings out a "new" product or idea when in reality it's something us old timers did back in the day. It's all about the marketing to get us to buy...buy..buy.

Cute to the 3rd power?

And Stamphappy, nicely put (win-win/Del Monte). : )

Agreed. In another video, he shared some brushes for blending backgrounds. While I think the brushes themselves are great and the slide feature for technique and storage is great, using brushes for this is not new. I bought some from SU ages ago.

He is a great showman/salesman though. Not surprising his line does so well.

I figure introducing and reintroducing techniques is part of the art and craft world. If a popular personality can demo and market to people new to crafting or blending or whatevering, more power to him or her. And more power to those of us new to that technique or tools.

Brushes - and blending techniques - have been around forever, and brushes are sold by massive numbers of companies. Dollars to donuts SU's brushes were "inspired" by another company's or actually are another company's that are branded for SU. (Back to Del Monte.)
