Sadly, 2 gals who were in the same group of one of the swaps I hosted had their entire set of swaps stolen just as we were finishing up! It was the Dream Swap held on Wed. in the South Lobby. Also stolen was a NICE Iris brand container (which held all of one of the gal's swaps) that will cost $60-$80 to replace. ETA: Lisa has pm'd me and clarified that the entire set of Iris containers is $60-80, not just the single piece. She said not to worry about helping her out with the replacement cost, but I bet that tucking a few dollars in with a 3D item donation wouldn't hurt her feelings at all!
If any of you have any info about this or are willing to send 3-D swaps to these 2 ladies, it would be SO appreciated! Also, if anyone is willing/able to send $$ for the stolen Iris container, I know how grateful she would be!!
Thanks in advance for your kindness and generosity towards these gals and this very unfortunate experience that will hopefully NEVER be repeated again. :(
Oh this makes me so MAD. It is shameful, Shameful, SHAMEFUL! This makes for several occasions now where something was stolen at this year's convention. Just too sad.
I've got PLENTY 3-d swaps so I'd be happy to send some their way. PM me with the details.
My upline had a nice SU album with fantastic technique ideas and samples "permanently borrowed". It is terrible, and if it was intentional, I hope the perpetrators get no enjoyment out of their stolen goods.
I would like to donate some money for the Iris container but I don't get paid until the 15th of August is that ok? Is this the 1st year this has happened? If so it maybe some of the non-demos doing the lifting...........just a thought.

Stolen Convention Swap Items
Could you please post an email so that we can get in touch with these ladies?
That way we could email them, and get addresses where we could send some 3-D swap items.
I have faith that all of the great demonstrators out there will come through and help out.
Email me directly at [email protected] if you would.
Blessings and hugs...Ro

the same thing happened to me (kinda). I was in 2 swap groups of Cards that move. I gave my wedding cards to a lady in the wedding group and took my christmas cards to the chrstmas group. When I went back to check on the wedding group, the lady I had given my cards to was gone! and of course so were my swaps. There was another lady now swapping the wedding cards and mine were no where to be found. Sure hope the first lady enjoyed swapping my cards! I am sorry for all the gals in the wedding group, they were short a card.
Glad to say, I did get some awesome Christmas cards though!
I really think any communications should go through Melissa. I was in this swap and I know one of the victims. Just in *case* this is a misunderstanding, and not a real "theft" I really don't think the accused should be able to see the victim's email address.

I had a fellow demo friend get some of her swaps (cards, I think) stolen as well. 30-40 of them, if I recall correctly. I just cannot even FATHOM why a fellow demo would do this to a fellow demo! I'm still shaking my head over it.
