Would like to stop emails from subscriptions

Hello,
I have been trying to figure out how to stop emails from my subscriptions. Is that possible? Are they part and parcel of subscriptios?

All the way down at the bottom of the email the is a Manage subscription or unsubscribe, click on it.

You can also, if you go to the control panel (click on your name at the top of the page) and then down in the left column look for Settings & Options and click on Edit Options. Then in Messaging and Notification, you can change your default setting. Personally mine is set to no notifications, and I activately opt in to any threads I wish to get emails for.
