This company is not just a "Cheap Shopping Site". It is a definite security risk. Owner? A large "corporation" in Communist China. And it is the second most popular shopping app behind Amazon. Products are made in China and the company has a 2.25 star rating. They have another company that is a partner to this "Cheap Shopping Site". I'm not typing its name because it needs stars too: *********.
But it goes further. Do you have the app on your phone? Cybersecurity experts recommend that you delete it immediately...AND do a factory reset on your phone. That is because it collects the following off of your phone AND computer: Name, address, phone number, birthday, photos, social media profiles, phone and computer operating systems and versions, your IP address, GPS location, and browsing history.
On top of all that, they will collect info about you from third parties, such as credit bureaus, data brokers, other **** sellers, marketing partners, social media, and public records.
Their partner company, *********, adds the following information that is collected from your devices: contacts, calendars, chats, texts, and photo albums. They also insert malicious code that bypasses your security and changes settings.
No app, or shopping site, or any other business needs this much control over you and your activities. Especially one from Communist China. I mentioned what to do if the app is on your phone...if you are shopping from your computer, remove any app that has been installed on your computer, difficult as it may be to completely remove.
