In my neck of the woods I charge 3.00 per card. I don't sell all that many and it isn't a source of income. Just a few friends who would rather give a hand made card than a bought one.
I know on etsy there are some more expensive ones but I don't feel I can justify that here
For a basic run of the mill, 2 or three layer card with stamping - $3
For a middle of the road with multi layer, die cuts and stamping $5
For a fancy card or a copic colored image with lots of embellishing $7 to $10
I've even made over the top cards to order for $12.
I sell at bazaars, my local mailbox place and at work. I do have repeat customers and walk ups at work asking me to make/bring my inventory in.
You will never make money on card making, but the $ helps pay for new supplies.

I live in a HCOL area and cards are appreciated here for sure

The only time I sold cards were when the recipients insisted on paying. The first time was a request and I needed to use clip art to achieve the theme. Some simple layers completed the A2 card. I made her set the price ($4.00) and was quite pleased.
Years later, a co-worker wanted to see some of my cards (she scrapbooks so we had some overlapping interests in paper). She oohed and aahed over my selection (about 15-20 holiday cards) and said her sister would love a particular card. She wouldn't take it without paying, so I asked for $4 (my benchmark price, LOL). She thought that was more than fair.
So, if I should ever make cards to sell, simple cards would be $4.00 and go up from there depending on complexity and size.
Since I never have enough cards for my needs, it is unlikely that I would have inventory for selling.
I've been selling cards for over ten years, and I would say that 90% of my prices fall between $4.25 and $5.25, but about 25% of that is paid to the stores who sell my cards.
I donate most of my cards to non-profit groups. I've done that with groups that have then distributed them where needed, but my current place I donate to sells them for $5.00 each. Most of those cards are fairly simple, but I do use quality materials and embellishments. They had a woman who told them that she couldn't possibly pay that amount, as she claimed they were worth more. She insisted on paying $7.00 apiece, which was lovely of her. She also understood that it is a fundraiser for the organization, and I'm sure that influenced her decision. Having someone value your work is always a nice bonus!
Our church bookstore sold 566 of my cards last Sunday! It was an easy way for people to donate to the fund for our new building which is being built now. My pastor said lat July that they have made over 10,000.00 selling the cards I donate.
I put pics in my gallery of lots of the cards I donate. I sent a box of 200 off to M D Anderson on Friday too. I feel so blessed to have outlets for the cards.
My Mom sells hers for $5/card at her work. She works in Phoenix, AZ. She tends to use some pretty expensive embellishments on her cards so it makes sense to charge this much.
I sell my cards for $5 each or 6 for $30 and people pay without hesitation. Most of my cards go to my cousin for her birthday and my sister as her Christmas present.
I think it depends on your location. And if you are in a major city, your economy, competition, etc.
I like to go to fairs and flea markets and crafters' sales to see what people are making and selling. For instance, in my area there are artist studios so I have a ton of professional artists near me selling prints and cards all the time. That determines prices for the most part.
