I'm in SE Minnesota and we have a winter storm warning right now...supposedly expecting 5-7" of the white stuff. Think we will have a heavy snow warning too...as that band is just West of us and heading our way. Oh joy! Took the bus to work and now I am kicking myself...should have had my very own "jammie" day and stamped away. Sometimes I don't think!! Anyone else enjoying the snow from inside their stamping room? Maybe I can live vicariously through you!! ;)

We have been having flooding up here in WA state. We are fine, but we DO have to boil our water to drink it, cook with it, etc. The kids are home from school today too, Veterans Day. Think I will try to do something creative today!

We're having a warm snap here! No complains at all!! I was out with the kids in sandals and t-shirt in Nov!! Almost unheard of here...without freezing to death anyways!

Southern ONtario is very balmy today as well.....but I still wish I was home stamping instead of here at work dreaming.
I would love to be able to predict ahead of time to have a good old fashioned "snow day" like we used to in the 60's and 70's...oops....that kind of dates me doesn't it ;)
WE always worry here that we'll get snoew in at WORK ! would that not be terrible ?
Hope you get out of there and home safely...and spend the weekend stamping!
I guess if I spray some snowflakes from the can on the window it will be snowing here when I look out the window does that count for something. Then I can get a jammie day inside too.And stamp all day woo hoo.

I'm just southwest of Minneapolis, and we had a dusting this morning. I have a friend in Mankato whose kids had a 2 hour delay this morning. Try to find some stamping time!!!
No snow in Fargo:-) A bit chilly but it is November. Is the weather bad on the western part of the state? I have friends headed to Rochester for a conference and a friend's husband is suppose to be leaving Rochester this afternoon to head back here for the weekend. I LOVE snowed in days with my kids! Just hate that most of the time we are snowed in DH still has to work and I worry about him on the roads - not looking forward to that:-)
Just talked to a friend who is driving home to Omaha from Wisconsin. He hit what he termed a "blizzard" going through Des Moines. Said he was driving 20 miles per hr on the interestate because of visibility.
Here in Northern Virginia it's about 70 (warm for November) and I'm just getting ready to go for a walk with DH. Hard to believe it's so close to Thanksgiving!
Well, we don't have snow yet, but we have a combo of rain and ice, with lots wind, and some thunder, so I am sure it is on it's way! I am not ready for Winter!!!! Why do I live in Wisconsin?!?!?!?!?!?!
I am at work here in Bloomington, MN, no snow. Sun is shining, breezy outside {haven't gone out--see the flags blowing though}. So I guess you could say it was chilly. Just logged on to wcco, and shows the stuff moving towards wisconsin.

It's snowing pretty hard here in Central WI. I can't wait to get home and stamp! I like it when we have to turn our lights on during the day. It seems cozy that way!

It is *just* starting to snow here in Eastern WI...it was sleeting and thundering earlier. I don't like turning the lights on during the day...makes me depressed! lol
Still haven't gotten down to my stamp room yet.

Whoops, forgot to add that I am brewing up a big ol' cup of Godiva hot chocolate right now!
Yikes! I just started my car. I can't believe the SNOW!!! Look out Sassy...it's coming your way!

If you're in SWI, and inside, looking out, is this not a picture perfect snow?! White stuff, thick on the branches of trees, fat beautiful snowflakes coming down fast & thick; gorgeous! My neighbor has a pear tree with some purple/brown leaves, some golden, and now white on top -- breathtaking! I want to make a card with this color combo!
I'm in south central Upper Michigan and we are getting snow here!! It's so pretty, its a heavy, wet, slushy snow so it is sticking to every branch of every tree and it looks gorgeous but I hate it and am so not ready for it, but unless I move I have no choice! I normally have a ten minute drive home from work, took me twice that tonight, but driving so slow gave me plenty of time to enjoy all they peaceful whiteness before tomorrow comes and everything is either melted or dirty and slushy!!!
Now i'm in for the night and hoping to participate in a VSN challenge or two.....or watch a good movie.....or read a good book....or......hehehehe
Whatever I end up doing it will be in my JAMMIES and SLIPPERS!
Well, an hour ago it was 76 degrees here in St. Louis - now it's 44 - just in an hour! We are getting the rain from the same storm system you are getting in Minnesota. The weather people are saying we could get flurries by morning....sigh. Winter in St. Louis is the absolute pits - we have "teaser" days when it gets warm, and the next day it is cold & windy. No half-way measures, but it's hard to know what to wear from one day to the next. At any rate, good luck with your snow - at least it's pretty.
It was 60 here in PA today. Unusually warm for November. We're not used to having this weather at this time of year. But tomorrow I will be in the warm when my plane lands in Cancun.
Are you kidding me Karen?! Me, envious?!?! Don't know what you're talkin about girl! Trade in driving on ice and snow, shovelling and dealing with chapped cheeks ... for a sunny beach, the sound of waves slapping the shore, while sipping a margurita? Tough call! LOL!
We got just a layer in the SE suburbs, but my parents got 10"+ in Eau Claire! I always remember having snow for Thanksgiving when I was a kid in WI. My uncles always went out deer hunting before Thanksgiving dinner and there was always snow on the ground.
We got a little bit here in Milwaukee, but my dh is up north hunting, just outside of Wausau (Phillips). His mom e-mailed me yesterday with pictures of dh's car buried --they got 13"!!
