will i be able to use the stocking builder punch w/o the stocking stamp??

debating just getting the punch, not the matching stamp set... would that be a mistake??

I don't think so. I was planning on doing the same thing.
You can use cardstock, designer paper, etc plus other
stamp sets, glitter, embossing, etc.

I just need to find the money to shop with;)

I think getting any punch 'frees' you up to use your own creative juices. You will not be limited to having the punched image just be the same as the coordinating stamp images.

I bought the pennant punch w/o buying the stamp set. I hoping to buy the stocking punch also.

Sorry, I am home sick with the crud and my brain is not operating properly. What I was answering with the "I don't think so" is do I have to buy the stamp. I am just planning on buying the punch. I think I shouldn't type until my body recovers from the flu/virus/creepy crawly crud that I have in me!;)

You can absolutely build stockings without the set. All the pieces are there. Just punch them from coordinating or contrasting paper or cardstock.

I got both the stamp set and the punch for the stockings, but I only ordered the pennant punch, too.

duh...I'm making a list of things to get for my next order and didn't even think about only getting the punch without the stamp...great idea...thanks for giving me more $$$ for another stamp set

I was planning on buying the punch but not the stamps because of being able to use DP with it. I will have lots of fun with that I am sure!
