I am making my sons invites and I stamped and colored them at lunch, 2 hours ago. Now I am trying to cut out the main part and the ink is coming off all over my hands and leaving prints on everything.
Anyone else have this problem???

Yes, last summer or fall I received paper from SU that smears. they replaced it 3 times and I have a ton of paper that is great for a base, but of little value for stamping! Finally went with beckett's expression #80. I think SU's was just a temporary bad batch, but you mess with me enough times on one item, and I bolt to a competitor...

Avoid the problem completely by using Stazon or Versafine ink. I absolutely can't wait even a minute to get started coloring in or cutting up an image. These inks dry instantly and do not bleed or smear!

Well, if you were able to color it and the black ink didn't smear, then that is weird....how is the humidity where you are?
If it is a problem with the paper, definitely let your demo know and she can look into it. SU should replace the paper if their product is defective, but that doesn't help you at this moment unfortunately!

I have a problem with Versafine drying quickly. I don't think it dries near as fast as Stazon. I love Versafine and use it most of the time, but it does stay wet long enough for you to emboss with it.
Yep! It's wierd. The black didn't smear but after I colored the image with the markers it totally smeared! I had to be careful not to smear it when I cut them out or my cowboy would get a finger print on his face!

I didn't discover until this weekend that Versafine doesn't always dry on coated paper. I bought a new white at the weekend and versafine smeared all over it. That has never happened before, but I felt the cardstock and it was coated and kinda shiny, so versafine doesn't always work! ;) I only realised when I read the back of the pad.
I had that problem with an image I stamped on glossy paper but solved it by using clear embossing powder and heat setting. That alowed me to salvage the project without redoing the whole thing.
