Default Whose stamps do you buy?

I'm just wondering if a lot of people are strictly SU stampers, shop all over, or have lots of different companies represented but no SU at all.

I've been stamping for about a year and a half and started with Stampin' Up. In that time, I've bought stamps from lots of different companies and now have "settled" in and I finally know who my favorites are.

This is my first attempt at a poll, so feel free to comment!! And I'm not sure how the poll thing works so if it doesn't show up... I'll figure it out!!

I buy from all over, and I especially like the stamps made by Imaginisce. Too cute!

I said "No Stampin Up' at all" but that's because you asked whose STAMPS I buy. I do like their inks and papers. Their stamps are just so far out of my price range.

I only buy TAC stamps now. I love papertrey and some other companies, but figure it's easier and cheaper if I just stick to one place. (And I am absolutely never allowed to buy single stamps- I can't coordinate them with anything! Though Bellas, if they weren't so expensive to me, could be an exception- because those can be used on their own.)

I will buy from other companies, good quality. Hence, hero arts, inkadinkado, great impressions, just to mention a few. Also, I will delve into the studio g dolllar stamps too. they are great for a quick card.

I do mostly Stampin' Up, and pick up a few in local stores here and there. I really like Hero Arts. One thing that I'm picky about, is I only use wood mounted. I'm old fashioned that way.;)

If I like it. I buy it! I try to stay towards unmounted stamps due to a limited space.

I've had to start the other way round. When I first started card making it was Anita's/Papermania, then Penny Blacks, Whipper Snapper and eventually into SU. So now it's a big rush to get all the new SU stuff, but I do still buy others after seeing them in the gallery here. I don't buy half as many PB stamps now as I feel I have more than enough of those to last a lifetime.

Let's just say my tastes far outstrip my wallet's ability to accomodate them....and leave it at that. By default, right now my collection is heavy on the SU side, just looking at stamps from the last 5 years or so. (Well, I AM a demo!) Before that though...HUNDREDS of other stamps and stamp companies' products.

I chose SU and others because my introduction to stamping was SU. Now that I am so addicted to stamping and found this place (SCS) I will buy whatever!

I am really into Unity stamps at the moment ... I just can't resist them. The quality of the stamp is easily equal to SU, and because some of the stamps are huuuuge they are perfect for scrapping as well. Love em !

I buy stamps that I love, no matter who makes them. Right now Kitchen Sink Stamps is getting most of my stamp budget.

Stampin' Up and BasicGrey are getting my paper and ink budget.

When I first started out stamping, I bought SU! exclusively. I have hundreds of their sets! Now I buy very few of their stamps, as not much of the artwork appeals to me. I still do buy the CS, except for the white (much too thin, and PTI rocks!), and I have all the ink pads in the five color families and all the In Colors.
Most of the stamps I buy now are UM red rubber. I mount them on EZ Cling for use with acrylic blocks.
I buy from many, many sources, and like many different styles of stamps...from elegant, realistic florals to cute critters and goofy characters!

I voted that I'll buy stamps from everywhere but wanted to clarify that I strongly prefer rubber stamps (with cushion) that are already wood-mounted. If I like the image enough (or enough images if it is a set), I will mount them myself (ala SU and TAC ... but I prefer that SU's are separated and not on the same plate and that you get wood blocks). I do own many SU (hobby demo but also several TAC sets and individual images by Hero Arts, Too Much Rubber Stamps, Savvystamps, Inkadinkado, Delta/Rubber Stampede, Great Impressions, DRS Designs and lots more.)

I have tried a few acrylic stamps and the only one I liked was by Stampington (expensive) so I don't have any acrylics. I do have some images (red rubber) from a grab bag that did not come with cushion/foam. Somewhere I have 1-2 sheets of EZ mount but I'm thinking that since I haven't wanted/needed to use any of these in the 3 years I owned them that I will eventually sell and/or RAK them.

If the stamp is not ready to use I am unlikely to use it. I am a confessed lazy stamper.

I may not be a good addition to this poll as SU! only just arrived in the UK! Mind you I've only been stamping a year or so. Most of my stamps are Cornish Heritage Farms and Crafty Secrets plus some from a UK maker (Tanda Stamps) with a couple of SU! sets and odd ones from elsewhere.

I buy from everyone. Papertrey will be getting my paper and ink budget, but I'll buy stamps from nearly anyone if they are an angel company. I do have non-angel-company stamps too, but most of those I bought before I knew what an Angel policy was. All clear stamps get preference, and then unmounted rubber, and then cling stamps, and wood-mounted are last. SU! is actually the only wood-mounted company that I buy from.

I said SU plus a few others, but the truth is I'll buy ANY stamp if I like it! The problem is access to other stamps. I belong to a SU club so I get to play with a set and, of course, then HAVE TO HAVE it! They are about the only stamps I get to see in person first.

I would buy more non-SU stamps if I had a store near me. As it is I have to order on the web! Unfortunatley, for my checkbook, I do that pretty regularly!

Mostly SU these days, but if I am in need of a particular image or see something I like I will buy elsewhere. i do find that I like the image from the cushioned rubber mounted(like SU) but have bought a few clear unmounted.

Most of my stamps are from SU, but after coming to SCS and seeing the different stamps from different companies I have started ordering those as well. I love the House Mouse, Hedgehog, Gruffies and Hippity Hop stamps and I have taken the plunge and I have bought severel sets of acrylic stamps. Thankfully my SU demo is alright with me being unfaithful to her, I think it might have something to do with the fact that I get most of my other supplies from her, and I do still buy SU stamps sets when I find one that I really have to have.

SU was my fav. all the time, but lately I haven't liked the entires sets to justify spending $25.00+ on them. That and it seems theres alot of flourish or "sketchy" designs. Those are getting kinda old to me.

I have purchased alot from Stampendous and Hero Arts recently

I have a ton of SU and can't wait until the new catalog to add more, lol. But I have been adding a few others to my collection. Especially love Unity stamps, Cornish Heritage Farms, Gina K, and I brake for stamps. I also have a few papertrey ink sets as well as a few Tac sets. I prefer rubber over clear, although, if it is something I love design wise, I will buy clear. The fact that I am running out of room, I buy all unmounted rubber where I can.

I'm an equal opportunity stamper! I buy them all. Started off with SU, but have bought everything from TAC, SEE D's, MFT, $1.00 stamps, Inkandoo, etc. I'm sort of off of clear acrylic stamps as even with high quality clear stamps, I just don't get quality images. I'm starting to find a lot of on-line sources for unmounted red rubber. Good prices with unique images.

I buy mostly from SU but I do have stamps from Daily Bread Designs as well as Blue Ridge Impressions. I will also pick up a single stamp every now and then if I know I will get a lot of use out of it.

I just picked up some Denami, I have Rubber Stamp Tapestry, Outlines, Hanna Stamps, Stamps by Judith, Gina K, Papertrey Ink, Rubberneckers (I'm sure there are others in my stash). I started at a SU! workshop, like their matching colors, but I'm not a demo so no need for loyalty here. If it speaks to me, I buy it, and that rubber has a way of talking.

adding Hero arts and Kitchen sink which sum it up-everything and the kitchen sink!!!

I began in 2005 or so with just Stampin' Up. When I first started stamping I really didn't do a whole lot of it...just the occasional card for family members and such. Now with the influence of SCS and some really wonderful blogs, I now fall into the category of "I see...I want...I BUY!" I'm a very visual person, so I need to see how a particular stamp set is used in different ways before I'll take the plunge and buy it. I have branched out, however, and now I also buy from Paper Trey Ink and Cornish Heritage Farms (those are my most recent purchases). I will sometimes see something I like at my LSS and pick up a single stamp or two, but usually it's sets...

I generally only buy SU stamps and supplies except for a dollar stamp set here and there. However, I love Verve Visual's sets. They are the only other company whose stamps I really really like other than SU.
