An old old thread got updated recently, and I saw a lot of names of people that used to post on SCS all the time. So I got nostalgic, looked in my favorites, and found a LOT of names of folks from back in the early days of SCS. I really miss:
mamakimberly and her sister, emily
Amy R
rohla
trudee
atomicbutterfly
StarLitStudio
flaxychick
cambria
jacksonbelle
WAXYO
Becky Rusher
...and so many more! Some really super talented paper crafters must have given up the craft. Makes me sad! In the early days, we had some great laughs here on the boards, and we got each other so hyped for new products.
mamakimberly I found MamaKimberly on Facebook. Now I can keep intouch with her. She is living in Florida now.

Cindy Haffner is still very active ~ her blog is here: Cindy Haffner's Corner
Duckwaddlequack I'd love to know too. There were some health issues in her family two/three years ago and I was in touch with her a couple of times, but then I never heard back.
Many of you may not have been around here long enough to remember her, but Kim Van De Riet made some of the most gorgeous cards I've ever seen.
I also thought about Curtis. I haven't seen him post in a while (unless I'm just not looking in the right places), but I'm thinking he was working with Gina K. as well.

That's so funny - I was just checking out his blog the other day, but it doesn't look as if he's been doing anything in the last good while.

Tell me, who do you miss?
Not sure if you're referring to me ;) but I'm still around
I don't get around to posting on SCS much but I still do lurk on here fairly often LOL!
I miss some people from really old days, more for their forum posts than their cards. I used to love seeing what tampersay posted in the CE forum and also there was darth Debbie who wrote funny stamping stories. For cards I miss Princess ink, it was because of her that I bought prismacolor pencils!
I miss Maddy Mason....she was one of the most kindest, sweet people who welcomed me when I first started uploading my cards. I have always appreciated the support she gave me...it really helped me feel confident enough to add cards to my gallery when before that all I did was look.
Yes, Amy! I have a lot of your cards in my faves, dating back quite a few years, too! I'm glad you're still here!
It's good to know that a lot of folks are still crafting and posting on their blogs, or crafting for other companies.
Yeah I'm pretty bad at remembering to upload my cards to the gallery here - after the blog, YouTube, Facebook and now Pinterest I only remember to upload here every 6 months or so LOL! That's when I upload like a dozen at a time ;)
I do browse the forums here quite a bit - I just don't post like I used to - it's true things have changed a lot over the years and a lot of my "forum buddies" aren't here anymore. It's been so long I feel like an outsider :(

I remember Kim - still have a bunch of her work in My Favorites - LOVED her work. I loved Curtis' work, too. Such a great eye for design. Several others that were listed (WAXYO, Rohla) are among my absolute favorites. Many who are listed, I follow their blogs but miss them posting as much here since I tend to come to SCS the most - used to be quicker to find all my favorite stampers in one place. I miss Pinefeather, too, but follow her blog, too.
Add to the list Lisa Johnson and Julie Ebersole when they stamped with SU products. They always had great spins! Missing Automicbutterfly and Daven, too.
Selfish of me, I know, but I want them all back. I'm happy they found other business ventures, but they were such a vital part of SCS's forums and gallery. It was home a long time ago. Feels like a distant cousin I need to get to know better. My fault, too. I haven't posted in very long...up until this weekend when I've gone off the deep end with posts .
I miss Susan Raihala (LateBlossom) - she has her own blog that I check every so often, but I still miss seeing her fabulous CAS cards on SCS.
I really appreciate the people who still post their cards on SCS even though they have their own blogs. I like seeing a huge variety of cards in one place as I have limited time to check tons of different blogs.

My SCS gallery is here should you care to look! Or please visit my blog, Cardmaker's Garret.
Maybe those of you who keep track of them on their blogs could post the links. It would be nice to see what our "old" (lol!) faves are up to these days.

And we're so glad you haven't Jeanne! You are ALL over my favorites!
Remember the old days of SCS when just about every thread had to come with a spew alert? You ladies always cracked me up!
lol... thanks! And yes those were good times.
I'll admit I am not as good at uploading to the gallery (or playing the challenges)as I used to be. Life (and work) gets in the way of the fun stuff sometimes. I would bet that some of the ladies mentioned above are still around but just not posting as much in the forums or gallery.
I would love to get back to that place where I could play the challenges regularly. I'm hoping stuff will settle down by the end off the summer.
SCS has been my happy place for many years now so there is just no getting rid of me. ;)
