I get comments on my cards all the time about how they like the simple card. It got me thinking "ya know, I do go for a simple clean look, but I don't think they are easy". It's so fun to share or photos on this site cause you see so many styles. I will often see something that is not my normal style which will inspire me to do something new.
Now I want to see how you'd claisify yourself and where the percentages fall.

I put other......'cause it kinda depends on the phase of the moon, the time of day, or any other distractions. Basically I guess my style changes frequently.

My style depends on my mood and the time I have to be creative, which usually is about 5 minutes. Lately it's been very simple with no layers.
I do have a question for you Seattlestamper. I've ordered almost everthing out of the winter mini. I've really been debating on getting the Big Pieces set too for Feb. SAB. I looked at your gallery and loved the card you did using Big Pieces and Riveting. My question is.....Is Big Pieces the same size as Riveting?
Thanks.

I voted for layers, but I also like the clean and simple, and sometimes cutesy, so oh gosh, I don't know, like, maybe I'm an embellishment diva. I guess it just depends on the mood I'm in, the feeling that I want to convey, or the beautiful creations that I see on here that I need to case.

Live in the moment and make it so beautiful it's worth remembering.
My styles change as the weather changes. Who knows what the day will bring? Today it is simplicity. Tomorrow it is vintage. Next week it is lots of yummy layers and/or embellishments.
Riveting is a little smaller. Little pieces fit just perfect inside of riveting.

I'm somewhere between "clean and simple" and "the more the better" meaning that I always want some kind of embellishment on my simple cards. Ribbon or some other item makes its way onto almost every single one of my cards. All in all, they are still mostly simple, though, so that's how I voted.
In general, I would define my style as fairly "clean," but it does vary depending on my mood. Sometimes less is more, and sometimes I can't get enough stuff adhered to the cardstock
I voted other -- mainly because most of my cards are uncluttered, most of the time. I do like to layer; I do like ribbon; I do like embellishments -- but all on a limited degree.
I tend to layer, just feels right, but I also love simple cards (ala JulieHRR, etc..).. just can't for the life of me make one that looks right! I keep trying though!
I tend to use just one or two layers total, but I didn't say *clean and simple* because I'm also a ribbon junkie... Very few cards leave my hands without a ribbon on them!
I answered other, because my stamping might change with the direction of wind. I love layers, love embellishments and ribbon. Not good at cutesy and am trying to get better at clean (not so much sponging). I'd say I have a pretty eclectic style, trying different things, until I definitely find my own!
I'd say 'other' also for the same reason as most of the 'other' folks... it varies depending on the occasion, stamp set and who I'm sending it to.
I think the cards I've gotten the most comments on are the ones I've done in more of an earthy, natural style... I still use the discontinued foliage and sea shell sets a lot and sometimes watercolor the leaves or shells and cut them out, then suspend a few cut-out shells or leaves on strings tied on to a ribbon or hanging from a brad--sort of little shell or leaf charms. I use a lot of the naturals papers, greens, browns, earth elements Kraft and confetti papers.
I like using punches to make word windows too.
I don't demo the things I do personally, because they use mostly discontinued sets and take forever but that's what I love messing around with when it's something I'm just doing to play.
I think I am in between the simple & classic and the layers. I love what other people can do with all the accessories but whenever I try, it just doesn't work for me. So, I end up drooling over all of that creativity.
Great question! I'm not exactly simple, but tend to lean toward the LESS IS MORE philosophy. I love seeing the lavishly accessoried samples, but I'm never able to pull one off for myself without thinking it turned out icky! :-)
My cards almost always have at least one layer, so I guess I could cross over into that category, too.
This morning was classically beautiful, this afternoon is crazy valentines for my kids! It totally depends on the sets I'm playing with - got all my sell-a-bration sets yesterday, and my mood. I don't even stick with certian color families. Always all over the place but it is more fun that way!

I voted 'other' cause after I get the colors down and the main image stamped, I temporarily place different things to see if they work. Sometimes, it takes bookoos, then other times, very little.
GarnetJ, "...ain't got no style!!" ROFL here... you so funny!!!
Ya'll have a blessed evening! Stormy

I love clean and simple but I will try new techniques. (been stamping for 20 years)
I like simple becuase it makes me feel like I've accomplished something without taking a lot of time.
My experience is that non stampers really like a good "clean and simple" card more than an intricate one. That said, I would love to be able to create some clean and simple, but find it quite hard. So, my style is evolving!! LOL

I really like layers right now, I think it just makes cards great. But I also like the clean and simple. I think I'm in the middle of them two (if I can be!)
But as many other stampers I do a little of eveything.

I voted other...it depends on my mood...I do not like SUPER clean and simple, but I also do not like that collagy over-done look, and I also do not do elegant.
