Cool! I've never seen fabric there, but have you seen the quilts she sells? I'm not looking for quilts, but if I were....wow! Have you been there lately? She's getting stuff in all the time. Last time I was there she had just got a new box of stuff in and let me go through it before it went on the floor! I was the first to have her order the Tim holtz crazy birds and now she can't keep them in stock!

It seems like my Michaels is phasing out other brands and expanding their own Recollections brand. Recollections has recently had a wide variety of scrapbook/stamp stuff. But, I agree with a lot of the comments, it's really hard to find quality stamping stuff at any of the major chains.

I have a few Michael's nearby. One is less than 2 years old and already had a "refresh" several months ago. I went today and mostly noticed coloring books, seasonal decor and Recollections branded items (cardstock, embellishments and stamps). BTW, avoid wearing a red top because two people thought I worked there. The first asked then apologized and went to find an associate. The second just started asking where something was. I said I didn't work here but told him where I just saw something similar. He said something to the effect that I do work there. I told him I just spend too much money here.

I usually prefer the one closer to work but haven't noticed significant differences between the two stores in recent visits.

A.C.Moore is generally better regarding selection but is not conveniently located to get to often.

My LSS is at least 40 minutes away but much longer with traffic (there is always traffic). I like the owner and chatting with other crafters that might be there but I mostly go if I signed up for a crop. Since I rarely get anything done at crops (chatting, eating and shopping) I only go to 1 or 2 a year.

Happy Crafting!
