Default What's the best "flourish" set?

I love the cards with little (or big) flourish/swirl motifs as backgrounds or borders or accents in a corner, but which stamp or set is the most versatile or useful? Any recommendations? (Please post a link if possible - thanks.)

I like, in no particular order of favouritism,

Technique Tuesday: Whirlygigs
Technique Tuesday: Parisian Market
Technique Tuesday: Whispygigs
Flourishes: Flourished Elements
Autumn Leaves: Christmas Swirls
Autumn Leaves: Big Swirls
Autumn Leaves: Elegant Flourishes
Autumn Leaves: Word Flourishes
Autumn Leaves: Flourishes
Autumn Leaves: Swirls
Purple Onion Designs: Ornamental set
SU! Finest Flourishes

Technique Tuesday and Flourishes are high quality photopolymer stamps. Autumn Leaves is cheaper quality clear stamps. Purple Onion Designs is unmounted rubber.

There are also lots of sets that have just ONE flourish (like SU!'s Baroque Motifs), if that's what you're looking for instead.

TAC has 18 different sets in their Swirls and Flourishes section...I'm not sure if I could pick just one (and I haven't! tee hee...)

I like them both. I plan on ordering the Baroque Motifs, I think I could do more with this one. I will probably get the Brocade Basics later on. Have you looked in the gallery, I'm sure that some of these talented ladies and gentlemen have created beautiful things with them.

i am an SU! girl...

i talked myself out of baroque motifs to get brocade basics...

now i wish i had baroque motifs. i do have an awesome demo who will let me borrow hers.

don't get me wrong- i like brocade basics but i think the 'swirl' is almost too bold when you are wanting just part of it.

with the baroque motifs you can put just a bit of the swirl and you still get the effect.

hope this helps!

There are Flourishes and Ribbons on this site. http://www.tuscanrose.com/rubber_stamps.htm***
They are very pretty and probably the ones I want the most.
There are also these new stamps by Cornish Heritage Farms
*** I do have these and they are beautiful.

Thanks for all the suggestions. You guys rock! I'm going to go with the Autumn Leaves "Elegant Fourishes" I think - seems to have a good selection of motifs.

Another vote for Baroque Motifs! First, I bought Rhonna Farrer's Swirls V:I set because it only cost me $10. But honestly, the poly stamp doesn't stamp as clear with classic ink (which is pretty much all I have). Technique Tuesday is a bit better, but not perfect.

So, I broke down and splurged for Baroque Motifs and then Priceless and you CAN'T beat the SU rubber!! With Whisper White paper you get a clean crisp image! The best!

Here is the gallery, you will drool!!!

Ya polymer vs rubber to me is no contest too! I am behind the learning curve I guess to get a clean crisp image with a polymer stamp - no matter what company it is from.

My fav this week is called ** from TAC - But if you asked me last week it was ****Curls and Swirls because it has both open and solid images so you can color them in or stamp them in a color.

Like Chris stated there are too many wonderful Flourish stamp set's that TAC carries.

But I do love Swirly Gigs. Here check this out:

Flourish Stamp Set's This will give you some idea's about what we are talking about...That we can't choose.
