Default Whatcha Been Working On?

It's time to show off your latest creation. Put a link to your latest project and add a little blurb about why you're so proud of it.

We can all use a bit of positive reinforcement now and then, right?

Here's mine: Wishing You the Beary Best Birthday by PattiLynn at Splitcoaststampers

I'm proud of it because I've had this stamp set mounted and ready to use two weeks ago. I finally had the time to play with it. I also loved that I paper pieced the bear's dress rather than watercolor it. I always tend to go to my inks rather than use paper for little details.

Now show me yours....please!!!

Ok... I decided that seeing everyone is starting to get into making stuff for Christmas I would share a tin I decorated. It's super simple but I love how it came out

That sounds like fun. I am terrible at scenes and would need lots of practice!

I've been totally obsessed with card candy.

When I first read about what it was, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to try it for myself. I made a bunch and started putting them on cards and I was hooked! It was so much fun.

I joined a card candy swap and uploaded the categories I'd completed, but I haven't gotten any comments on them. I'm wondering if I should start over. I was plain in that I wanted constructive criticism, but I can't even get that. :o

I'm still playing with the card candy, for my own use, and I still think it's tons of fun.

Paper Crafts Magazine has posted their next pub call so I've been working all weekend on these. Here is one of the cards I made for the call...

I love it and buttons are so "in" right now!!

I always find the Paper Crafts calls very inspiring. They always come up with the most clever articles.

Wow...thanks for telling me that...I would have blithely gone along thinking it works a treat....

I will see if I can fix it...but then will need someone to test it, eh!

Thanks for asking!

I just completed this card as a sample for the store where I teach. I'm teaching the faux metal technique used on the chipboard P.

I love how the P turned out and the combination of the colors of the main image with the colors and design of the patterned paper. It's classy and kind of vintage looking, so it really says "Miss Iowa." I hope it doesn't get too beat up at the store, so maybe I can actually give it to someone later (or just keep it for myself).

Default Purse Notebooks

I am working on these little notebooks for a church bazaar. I came up with the little ditty while doing dishes.

I used Raspberry Tart paper. SU oval and scalloped oval punch. I also used a scalloped edge punch I got from M's.

Directions can be found on Becky Roberts' blog

http://www.inkingidaho.blogspot.com/

Cutting the little book was not a big deal but you need to be careful and keep it even. The books I got 2 for a dollar at Target.
