I'm proud of it because I've had this stamp set mounted and ready to use two weeks ago. I finally had the time to play with it. I also loved that I paper pieced the bear's dress rather than watercolor it. I always tend to go to my inks rather than use paper for little details.
Ok... I decided that seeing everyone is starting to get into making stuff for Christmas I would share a tin I decorated. It's super simple but I love how it came out
I have been working on my blog group sketches AND trying out a stampscapes tech....love those scenes and have decided I am going to get good at them....when?....Is anyone's guess!

That sounds like fun. I am terrible at scenes and would need lots of practice!
When I first read about what it was, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to try it for myself. I made a bunch and started putting them on cards and I was hooked! It was so much fun.
I joined a card candy swap and uploaded the categories I'd completed, but I haven't gotten any comments on them. I'm wondering if I should start over. I was plain in that I wanted constructive criticism, but I can't even get that. :o
I'm still playing with the card candy, for my own use, and I still think it's tons of fun.

I just completed this card as a sample for the store where I teach. I'm teaching the faux metal technique used on the chipboard P.
I love how the P turned out and the combination of the colors of the main image with the colors and design of the patterned paper. It's classy and kind of vintage looking, so it really says "Miss Iowa." I hope it doesn't get too beat up at the store, so maybe I can actually give it to someone later (or just keep it for myself).

Your faux metal came out really awesome! Looks like it will be a fun class
