What are you working on?
Right now I'm in the process of making 40 to 50 invites for my daughter's wedding shower. I'm feeling the time crunch! I'm also working on a beautiful card I saw someone link on the ribbon thread a few days ago. It has a scallop punched from dp in the center, a few other layers of circular punched dp and the petals are made from ribbon. It is just an amazing way to use ribbon. I also have a card started for a someone I know who has been giving me baskets of fresh raspberries. I wish I had a raspberry stamp. I do have a strawberry and I will have to make do with that!!! I thought it would be fun to read what everyone else is working on. Well, it's about 5 am and I'm off to work on those invites!!

My friend's husband is in the Army National Guard and is currently deployed to Iraq. I'm almost finished making thank you/thinking of you cards for the soldiers in his unit.

I need to make a Golden Wedding Anniversary card this week before I make anything else. But right now I'm working on seeing what everyone is up to in the forums;)
I need to make 100 thank you cards for a friend who is getting married in a couple of weeks, and last night she asked me if I could make the tent cards to place on the tables to indicate where everyone should sit. I have also been making cards for my sister to sell for an elephant refuge and I still have to get my card stash built up to sell at a convention in May 2010. I should be busy for a little while.
I'm in the middle of getting my cards made for Cards for Heroes. Need to ship those off this week. Also will be getting started on cards (birthday) for a swap at my LSS.

I'm in the middle of making birthday invitations for my daughter.
And I will be starting 150 baby announcements soon. Should keep me out of trouble for a while!
I am on here looking for inspiration and checking out the challenges...I have not been creating for MONTHS and finally got my new scrapping space done last weekend...YAY... (pics on my blog) but have yet to actually CREATE in it!! Hopefully today!

I just finished making 12 Wedding invitations Two days before that I made 50 85th birthday party invites. Before that 40 bridal shower invites. Of cource all this would not have happened without my little group of stamping friends!! We all shared the work. Right now, my Christmas card club starts this Sunday so I have designed 4 cards and I need to cut for them. You know, work just gets in the way of the thing I LOVE to do!!!!

Now I'm making some table decorations out of mason jars. I'm going to put sand and shells inside with a votive and tie the jar with raffi...set some on tables and the beach!
Super cute Laurie! I have to ask where your blog photo was taken?? Those waterfalls look super familiar but I can't place them...or maybe they just look like others. LOL

I'm having a papercraft ADD moment these days - not so much a moment but a lifestyle. lol
My DD's 9th birthday is next month and I need to finish up some Cupcake pull out invites that I started working on but never quite finished.
I just signed up to do a craft show in November and have 3 pages of ideas that I've written down so I need to get that list down and start making stuff.
I want to make pencil vases for the teachers for the first day of school (Which is in two weeks, lol). Guess I've gotta get right on that one, too!
I've started a few halloween cards but I need to make about 5 more.
I'm just trying to take it all one day and stamp at a time! lol

Today is my DH’s birthday and I had made him a tri-shutter style card. I was amazed at how much he loves that card. He usually says something nice about the cards I make him … but that layout really got his attention. ha!
Yesterday, I finished up a patriotic style card of appreciation for a 108-year-old WW1 veteran in reply to a request in the Card Request Forum on SCS. Here’s the link:
Today, I'm working on a card of encouragement for 13-year-old Alyse, a cancer patient. I learned about Alyse on the Card Request Forum, too.

Finishing up some large altered comp books for a couple of Christmas boutiques...also for that some assorted BD cards, Get Well, etc. and a few more Christmas card packs. A 50th Wedding party (that I missed :oops and my father's 92nd birthday is coming up...want to make his card a goodie!
What am I doing here??? Better get busy!! LOL

Im trying to start my card for participating in Etsy Inspired Challenge and Sketch Challenge on Paper Craft Planet, but first I have to finish an illustration for a customer so I have many work to do...! anyway Ill go on browsing the forum the next minutes and commenting on it of course ;)
I'm working on some cards for my SIL - she wants me to make some 20 cards which she can use all year round for b'days etc. And believe me, for me making 20 cards takes a whole lot of time! As somebody said, work gets in the way of what I love to do
It was really fun to read that some of you have so many things to make for so many occassions! That's awesome!
Well, I'm getting a few Christmas cards made and still getting ideas. I have all my August birthday cards ready to go and will start on September's in another week or so.
I'm working on swap cards for Sunday. I think I'm going to do masculine cards and I want to do a b-day card for my DD. I want to do a happy double digit bithday card cause she's turning 10.
I'm working on 3 recipe swaps here at SCS. I'm also hosting a card candy swap over at CardMaker.
I've started doing 20 altered gift bags for a hospital volunteer luncheon; they will be the centerpieces. They are autumn-themed and will have the makings for s'mores in them. Also making 150 (!) jumbo paperclip bookmarks as the table favor for this same event - what was I thinking??!!:o
And I've got a Christmas card idea trying to form in my cram-packed head......

i am working on decorating a composition book for my 11 year old great niece as part of her birthday present. she asked for it to be able to use it for one of her classes this year.
i also have an order for 30 christmas cards... and i don't even have MINE done yet... better be getting back on those! at least she just wants all the same design. my goal is to have all mine to be different this year.
my friend/demo gives our card club a 'challenge' each month so i am also working on that. it is a sketch challenge this time and i am planning on doing a scrapbook layout for that. i have just started scraping in the last several months so these pictures are from 1977! can you even believe that?! i was in high school and we spent our christmas time in the bahamas. man did i look GOOD in a bikini! LOL
what else let me see... school starts tomorrow... my washer is broke and i am knee deep in laundry... OH! you meant STAMPING! LOL
I am just finishing work for the day and logged onto the forums to see what's happening on SCS. I am finishing a color challenge card for my SU downline for the month of September. That will be done next week, but I have a good start on it. I also have to put the finishing embellishments on a challenge card for another group that meets this Sunday. We were to chose some kind of textile for our inspiration. I have the pillow from my DD's new bedding- it's Bermuda Bay and Chocolate Chip stripes. I just chose a design for a Christmas card for a downline Christmas card swap. I may have to make 25 of these babies, so I kept it CAS! Those are due Sept 5th. I am also waiting for the SCS Sketch challenge to post tonight and I'll try to get that done tonight. Better log off and grab some dinner! Happy Stamping to all.
Everyone is working on such fun stuff! I did the wedding invites for a coworker not that long ago, and I am almost done with my 70 Christmas cards for this year, but I'm taking a break to make back to school cards for my nieces, nephews, and coworkers (I'm a teacher). Have 8 of those done....10 more to go.
Right now I am in the middle of a challenge to post a NEW project everyday, sometimes I even manage TWO a day. These are all handmade cards, stamped, lot of watercoloring
I just completed a box of Thank You cards for my daughter-in-law. They're
5" x 5" and very cute. I even used my Enveloper to make matching envies.
While browsing the forums, I got snagged by a Card Candy swap. I'd never heard of this, so I tried a few for myself and just LOVED it.
I had to sign up for the swap, then I finished my first group of candy and now I've signed up for two more. I'm definitely hooked.
As I'm on a roll, I just signed up for my first recipe swap. I've thought, ever since I joined SCS, that recipe swaps made a lot of sense. It's something practical that I'll use.

I've been working furiously the past few days trying to meet publication deadlines. One of my goals this year was to get at least one card published...I keep on trying! ;)
I'm working on cards for my nephew and niece. Right now I'm using Halloween images, but they will not be Halloween cards, 'cause they don't like Halloween for religious reasons. They'll just be "hello" cards featuring bats, cats, pumpkins, etc. My sister (their mom) said that would be okay. Then I will make true Halloween versions for DH.

Um, I have like 8 projects I have dabbled with in the last few days (this is not to include the numerous other half finished projects or piles of supplies for projects in mind surrounding me). I have a few totes I am trying to sew, a few hair blooms to sew, a few half finished Christmas cards, a recipe organizer...and a

Heehee you are too funny! I too am sewing totes bags, for a pregnancy care center that is in need. But I recently finished 30 cards, mostly thinking of you cards, and haven't photographed and posted them yet. Been trying hard to think of what I want to do for Christmas, but just can't find that idea yet!
Now I'm making some table decorations out of mason jars. I'm going to put sand and shells inside with a votive and tie the jar with raffi...set some on tables and the beach!
Oh, thanks for the message in the bottle idea. My daughter is also getting married on the beach-in Mexico over Thanksgiving.

WOW!! It's amazing to read what everyone has been creating or planning......I just bought some little paper flowers to finish my shower invites. They are like Primas, I guess. I've never bought Primas, but I'm thinking they are like the ones I got at Michael's last night.
