I got 4 cricut cartridges from Ohmycrafts.com and then hubby said I could order more because the exchange rate was so good so I ordered another 3 cartridges which come with 4 embossing folders each and I also ordered a set of 4 Christmas embossing folders. After that I got an email from a friend with a site selling the gypsy at such a good price (compared to Australia) that I just had to have one of those too. It has 2 cartridges already loaded and if it arrives in time I will register it before 31st Dec and get another 5 carts, great buy! I am stalking the postman now lol.

I think I'm going to win this one. I bought a Vagabond at Absolutely Everything in Massachusetts and it arrived for pickup during Thanksgiving week. They had a BIG end-of-the-year sale on Friday, so that's when I went. I got a $20 gift coupon for the points I got for the Vagabond, and I already had $20 in gift points from my sales over the year. Using my $40 in gift coupons, I wound up purchasing at the sale $368 worth of really good stuff for $9.92
My DH was able to get some pre-Black Friday deals at HL. He bought me a Big Kick, extended cutting pads, lots of die cuts for 40%, plus he had a coupon for an additional 20% off the entire purchase, including the sale priced items. Early Christmas for me. Woo Hoo.

I have shopped at Scrap-Mart for their 50% off sale for two days in a row. I have a new Slice Elite in Pink coming, a hands free kit and new Slice cards. I will give my gently used original Slice to my stamping friend who doesnt have the means to purchase any die cut machine...she will be so shocked. I also got $50.00 work of Pumpkin Spice and other flavor K cups for the Keurig so I can stay away longer and stamp more...lol
blessings.
I scrafted up some grand Spellbinders borders dies, Tim Holtz embossing folders, some cutting mats for my Wizard, and Sizzix Texture plates at JoAnns. I too used the free shipping coupon.
for those of you that purchaed cricut carts at WM, did they let you pick any of their lite carts, or were you limited to the 4 special ones they had for the sale?
Thats how I thought it should have been, but I was not allowed to buy any of their regular stock, only the couple "special" ones, and I didnt like any of those.
I only saw the special ones at my Walmart. I'm going to have to go back and see what they have. I only picked up two of the cartridges on black Friday- I wasn't too crazy about the rest of them. I purchased the Christmas one and the Four Legged one.
My WM does have a pretty big selection of "lite" cartridges. not sure if they are only at WM?? but they are $39.99. Thats quite high, since they dont have as many features as the regular ones. But these were the ones they said were not on sale black friday.
Stopped in TODAY at Crafts2000 for something else, was wandering the scrap aisle, and, lo and behold, there is one Cricut original left at the Black Friday price of $50. Includes the George cart. Plus their other carts were BOGO. So, I left with a machine and 3 carts for 99.97 plus tax. SCOOOOORRRREEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

They had 6 (I think?) different Lite cartridges on the BF special. The "regular stock" carts were not on sale.
When I was at WM on Saturday, they had several of the BF cartridges left but they were $25.00. They also had probably 8-10 of the colored Cricut left for $198.00 (after BF they went up to $220.00, not they are back down a little).
I did buy another cartridge called Celebrate with Flourish, which was marked $25 but rang up as $39. When I told the cashier, she rang it up as $25, so I got a good deal on that one. The rest of the Lites were at the regular price of $39 though.
On Saturday I was in the store that I had scored all the Spellbinders dies on sale.. and the manager told me that he told the cashiers that if I wanted to buy one of the Vagabond machines using a coupon I could.. so they let me use a 50% off coupon.. I took the Grand Calibur back to Hobby Lobby that I had bought, but hadn't taken it out of the box yet.. I am happy to not have to crank a handle no more.. I had rotator cuff surgery a couple of months ago and am so happy to get this.
