Okay. thanks. I wonder if people who ordered around that date had their deliveries delayed? I'm afraid mine may be lost and forlorn in some corner of a warehouse. I guess we have been spoiled by the extremely fast turn around time with most companies today.
As far as I know Dave does not ship from a warehouse. I thought you said your package was received by the post office. If delay is due to flooding problems I am sure the post office (Post Office's) are closed until flooding recedes.

Yes, I know. I just meant the post office warehouse/distribution center.
Well, as I posted last month, I e-mailed dave on May 19th.
I haven't heard back from him, but I know why!!
Yahoo couldn't deliver the e-mail to him, it said his mailbox was too full and unreachable for too long. :confused:
So anyhow, I guess he has too many e-mails coming in and he either isn't checking his box (because it's too full) or something.
I don't know how this happens or what his e-mail box limit is, I know that my yahoo e-mail box limit is somewhere around 3,000.
I wish I could get in touch with him, because I have some AWESOME suggestions for dies. :(

I placed my order on the May 13th. It arrived at the Postal facility on the 25th. It was scheduled to arrive on the 28th. Still don't have it. I emailed him and he said to keep in mind that there has been a lot of weather and flooding the past few weeks and that might be the problem. Anybody know anything about flooding? Has anybody else had such a delay on their shipping? TIA.
I finally got USPS notification that my package is in WI and on it's way to my town. I should have it by Tuesday.

The store is open tonight and I ordered--AND I got the tree set, along with a few others that jumped in my cart!!! Shipping was $7 and I think that is fair for what I ordered.

Good for you. It's funny how that works. I mean things jumping into your cart. ;) I was refunded $3. for my order of one die set.
I've never figured out his scale for shipping. The first order I made with him I bought several items and was originally charged $7 and refunded $3.
This last order I bought one little die and was charged $7 for mailing, no refund. :confused: Not too pleased to pay that for one small lightweight envelope with one die. By the same token, SU charges 10% regardless (after the minimum ship charge), which puts it all in perspective.

It might be an oversight. Contact Dave and question him on shipping. He does refund on shipping. Just Ask.

I cannot believe that this is the first I am hearing of this. I've been stamping with Stampin Up for at least 10 years!
I agree that Dave could make this a full time business.
Now that SU is doing lots of dies, I'm assuming he does sets that don't have coordinating ones. Is that right?
He probably needs to hire a business coach to show him how to organize and streamline.
I wonder how he got involved in the first place. Maybe his wife is a stamper?
Oh my gosh thank you so much!!!! I found out about the shop on Pinterest and then it was gone! I was so sad to not get the dies that go with the No Bones About it set! Just ordered it! :eek::eek::eek: So happy!!!

Dave just had a restock must have sold out.
Email Dave at [email protected].. Ask when next shipment for dies you are intrested in. He does respond to this email

I received my order yesterday--included the trees set and a few others. I then emailed Dave and asked when the next restocking would occur as I am interested in more. He said some, including the tree set, would be posted on July 1st. He also said he will be adding more and even some new ones the end of July......... Yippee!!!!

When his is all sold out,Dave closes the store. When he restocks store opens. Put your email address in the email box. You should be informed about updates.

Yesterday you could get to his catalog, and everything was sold out.
Today it says Business maintenance and opening soon. I'm guessing he's probably putting up new dies.
It would really be helpful if people could take the time to read the thread (or search it) before adding to it. People should not have to repeatedly answer the same questions over and over. One person asked for the link to the site when it was in a post just a few posts above theirs. Can we try to give poor Leslie a break and make some effort to find these things ourselves?

I so wanted to say this a long time ago, just read the thread. Actually there are 2 threads going about Dave. AND when I post his email address I have, in the past, use very large print and a red color at times too. And this question is asked again and again.
When the store is closed, just put youe email in the email contact box. Dave does inform when he reopens the shop!

I have a question about the Mini coffee cup die. Someone mentioned a layer. I've never seen that die. Might anyone have a photo of it, and a name, and possibly even a photo showing both the wrapper and the layer on a coffee cup? That's asking a lot, I know, lol. Thank you.Karen

I actually have a bunch of the little cups. The store that sells them is right next to my son's old school. I know that Dave has a die to wrap the cup itself, it's just someone mentioned a layer for it, and I'm curious about that. Thank you so much!
