Default What stamps are musts in new SU catty?

I am hosting a SU party next Sunday and was wondering what everyone thought the absolute "musts" were for stamp sets from the new catty? I was going to pick God's Blessings (I didn't get this before), Pocket Silouettes, and Nature Silouettes. Otherwise I really didn't see anything I liked.

Thanks!

Inspired by Nature is on my "to buy" list for next month's club order.

Holiday Lineup. Love this set. Dreams du Jour and bella rose paper. Makes awesome cards for any occasion.

I'm interested in the answer to this question too. An SU Rep is suppose to be sending me the new catalog next week. I can't wait to flip through it. I haven't placed an order for SU stamps in 5 or 6 years. Most of the ones I own now are retired but I still use them.

For me, it was Pocket Silhouettes and Snow Swirled. There are a few others I want, too, but I'm waiting for my birthday, LOL!

I don't know why, but I was really drawn to 'Just Jawing'. I have had so much fun making cards with this set. I did a tutorial (step by step) on my blog on how to make the card in the catalog using the 'shaker' technique for the eyes.

I love Flight of the Butterfly and Owl Together Now. Except, I can't find anyone else that thinks the Owl Together Now stamp set is cute... :(

The must-have stamp sets are the ones that you see and immediately connect with. Going with what speaks to you will give you the most satisfaction in the long run.

I must have Snow Swirled! It will go so well with Priceless and I think it'll be really cool heat embossed. I also like the sentiment set Heard from the Heart... and since they are both on the "never before seen list" I will be getting them before the end of Sept.

For me, the biggest 'must haves' are the punches. I must have the scalloped punch, the new scalloped square, the big oval, etc, etc~

Hi Everyone! I was at a party last Tuesday, and I ordered the scallopped edge punch (love it!!!), Morning Soft, Dreams duJour, and Pretty Peony (which I debated about for 6 months, now and thought it was time.)
The next party I'm going to, in October, I plan to order Eastern Influences, A wish for peace, and Holy Triptych. Hope that helps....Good luck in choosing the ones you just can't seem to live without!

I TOTALLY agree---I order every punch that comes out! They are my favorite tools---very versatile (both scrapbooking and card making) and just plain fun! Plus, if I want to keep my 6 year old busy while I am working in my craft room, I give him a 12x12 piece of paper and tell him to go to town with the punch!

Thanks for your inputs. Well, the party I'm hosting is on my b'day so I'm picking lots of goodies to get from my husband and my mom for my b'day!!! I had picked Pocket Silouettes and Nature's Silouettes, so I think I'm going to get them. Sometimes I don't see the possibilities with some of the sets and then I see a couple thousand samples of cards made with a certain set on Splitcoast and wish I had gotten it. Thus, the question for any input. I did like the Inspired by Nature right away, but thought it was so limiting. I'll have to re-think that one.

I think Happiness is a Journey is a fantastic stamp for maculine cards. It's a locomotive that is very easy to use - no coloring needed.

I was our Stamp Club hostess this month. I got Cheers To You and Party Hearty sets. I chose "Best Yet" as my hostess set. It qualified for a level 2 set, but I didn't like any of those. Snow Swirled is on its way from last month's Club hostess. Can't wait!!

I love the owl set!! I also really like the silouttes (sp). I think they are very classy and pretty! I also think that those punches are about the best I have ever used.
