I am so happy SU went with the unmounted, but still rubber stamps as an option. I have been unmounting mine for years. I love the space savings and the ease of positioning! I have a hard time using wood mounted stamps now. Rubber is still the BEST, and I am glad they did not compromise on it. THANK YOU, THANY YOU, STAMPING UP FOR LISTENING!
I, too, was first introduced to stamping at a SU workshop. I ordered a few things, then went to the big stores to see where I could get a better deal. I bought 2 sets of stamps, which I've never used. I bought packs of markers which have long since worn out. My SU markers, however, are still going strong! I love that the colors coordinate, and that I can get great ideas here on SCS!
I went over a friend's yesterday, who told me that she pulled out her old SU color wheel to think about colors to paint her new house.
I love the new unmounted option, and I can't wait to try the new punches. I am also gaga over the beautiful papers! I really do love almost everything there is!

I am happy to have the space & cost savings on the new Clear Mounted stamps...those acrylic blocks are so sweet and user friendly, I never would have believed how good a block could feel, to have one in your hand it is like holding an inspiration to get stamping! I also love the fact that we will see exactly what image we are stamping so I don't have to be sure it is on the block straight!
I not only love that SU is now going to offer unmounted, but that the stamps will come in thier own dvd storage! I already store my stamps in DVD boxes so these will fit right in, and I won't have to purchase the box separately.
I still love the artwork, even though I wish they would get a bit more variety (besides floral) and not have every set include a "friend" phrase or some saying I'll never use. (SU--most people send cards for birthdays and other events--we need more of that.) I am especially in love with the unmounted stamps. The combination of rubber and clear blocks is the best in my opinion.
While I am a wood-block kind of gal (I just love the feel of wood!), I think I am really going to like the acrylic blocs with the unmounted rubber.
That being said, I really do love SU. I joined durning Sale-a-Bration last year and it has been my life line!
I LOVE all of their products - co-ordinating papers, embellies and inks, stamp sets, dp, punches (can't wait to try the new ones!), and of course, stamps!
But what I love most of all is getting together and having a good time with my "craft sisters." Stamps and paper come and go, but relationships are the stuff of life.

You truly understand the true spirit of stamping.
I love SU also, but I am not a purist. My SU experiences and friends are irreplaceable though.
I have to say that I love EVERYTHING about Stampin' up. I was introduced to SU a few years ago by a friend at work whose daughter was having a workshop. I went home with her and went to the workshop and just fell in love with it. I participate in "Stamp Club" each month with the most awesomely fabulous demonstrator around... not only is she so very gifted, talented and creative... she is also one of the sweetest and kindest people walking on this planet... and I am thankful everyday that God brought me to her!! Love ya P!!! (she is a member here... somewhere, although I cant seem to find her lol)
Quality!!! Color coordination, great variety of embellishments and related products, and I think the stamp art is tough to beat. Love it all! And I am so excited to try out the unmounted option since I've never done that before. The new punch design, if you haven't seen them yet, is AWESOME!!
I've been with SU! for 7 years(WOW! has it been that long?Time flies when you are having fun!). Been a wood mount lover but I did order I {heart} heart set in clear mount...I love them! I am still not to thrilled about peeling them off but I am getting use to it. SU! has me with their CS and ink, I love the coordination. I look forward to what next!

Oh, I sooo agree!! I wish they'd add some witty sentiments. They seem to have some odd sentiments that don't really go with anything...That said I do love SU!!

I love that SU! finally (a year or two ago??) made French stamps available for Americans and not just Canadians or French citizens!!!!!!!!! I used to pay nearly twice the amount for stamp sets I desperately wanted (the Canadian dollar was actually worth MORE than the US dollar at the time plus their catalogue prices were higher, plus I had to pay Canadian shipping and handling and then shipping again from Canada to the States!!!) All because I wanted the French version!! (I contacted a Canadian through SCS who assured me she was not a demo and I bought them through her). So there are not enough words to express how deeply I appreciate SU! making the French versions available to Americans now.
I am another one who is grateful for their new unmounted option. Even if the wood-mount and the cling-mount sets were the same price, I would still choose the cling-mount option.
I also love that SU! retires their stamps on a regular basis. Ebay is flooded with lovely retired SU! stamp sets because of that. Usually by then, the gallery here will have been flooded with tons of cards using those sets too! Also my demo doesn't keep many of her old sets so she breaks out with a sale at her house every time sets retire. Love checking those out too.

I love checking out buy/sell/trade here on SCS....better prices than ebay (almost always) and the shipping has been much better in my experience. I also gotten great sets from demos. Can't complain when I can buy a retired hostess set like Window Dressings for a great price too!!

Their paper is the best quality around. I love that they decided to carry clear stamps as well as wood mount. I like them both. I was first introduced to stamping going to a SU party so I'm hooked for life.

Me too! (Hooked for life, that is.)
Small correction: clear mount stamps, not clear stamps.;)
I love the commitment to always stay current and to come up with new products (and that they team up with other company's like with the big shot that is FINALLY coming to Australia WHOO!!!) and the support that you get and the co-ordinated products l love it all...(can you tell???).. oh and my demo.
I love that everything coordinates. I started with SU when a friend was a demo. Even after she quit, I stuck with it and love my "new" demo tons. She rocks!

I'm loving that the images are on the spine of the cling mount stamp cases! With the wood mounted sets I have to think (too hard...haha) about which set contains an image or sentiment I would like to use. Now I will just have to peruse the stamp cases. I know I should make a stamped index but.....
