The olive narrow organdy is bombdiddlylicious.... it goes with olive, artichoke, moss papers..... VERY versatile and so pretty!

The burgundy narrow organdy and white narrow organdy are must haves!

For grosgrain, I'd say chocolate, rose, black(!), red....

I don't know, I use them all

I use spring moss a lot. It's a great green that works well with mellow moss, certainly celery and old olive. I think I use green more than any other color.

Eggplant, celery, cream grosgrain (and the cream and white you can tint with any ink colors, so I like to use those for that too).

I also like narrow white organdy and wide gold organdy

Taupe. I did a ribbon swap and that was the first thing I ran out of...and I need more! Also black gingham goes with everything!

I have more of the wide organdy ribbon, but I seem to use the navy, black and white the most.

I think it depends on what your style is. If you tend to do a lot of "dirty" cards (like I do...and by "dirty" i mean, um, oh gosh what do i mean!!) you might want to go with the earth colors, like mellow moss, darker reds, rust, etc.

BUT, if you tend to do bright and cheery cards, then go for the bright colors, like PINK and TURQ!

One thing I've noticed though, I use the WIDER organdy more often than the narrow organdy. Or, I combine two colors, using one narrow and one wide.

I do prefer the narrow grosgrain though. Nothing wider than 3/8" inch most of the time if I'm using non-SU grosgrain.

I love ribbon.
I love ribbon.

Have you seen www.reasonableribbon.com?

black gingham is my top fave! Have 2 rolls in place at all times. Next would be apricot grosgrain.

Celery organdy - wide and narrow. It's gorgeous, and way more versatile than I imagined it would be.

I like the white narrow organdy. it can be died to match, and I still don't have much in the way of ribbon yet, so this works for me!

I love the black/white gingham the best. It's the one I always gravitate towards when doing my cards.

I love and use everything I have (bluebird, eggplant, apricot, apple green, love the caramel gingham and the moss gingham, all the ginhams really). One thing I want to point out about the apricot ribbon, mine matches the barely banana perfectly (and goes very well with so saffron) but does not match apricot appeal as well (in my opinion). It is beautiful though, not sorry I ordered it! In organdy, I agree with a previous poster that the wide seems to be more useful (at least for how I know how to use it) than the narrow. Navy, olive, ivory and burgundy are the only organdy's I've had but love them all.
