I use spring moss a lot. It's a great green that works well with mellow moss, certainly celery and old olive. I think I use green more than any other color.

I think it depends on what your style is. If you tend to do a lot of "dirty" cards (like I do...and by "dirty" i mean, um, oh gosh what do i mean!!) you might want to go with the earth colors, like mellow moss, darker reds, rust, etc.
BUT, if you tend to do bright and cheery cards, then go for the bright colors, like PINK and TURQ!
One thing I've noticed though, I use the WIDER organdy more often than the narrow organdy. Or, I combine two colors, using one narrow and one wide.
I do prefer the narrow grosgrain though. Nothing wider than 3/8" inch most of the time if I'm using non-SU grosgrain.
I love ribbon.
I love ribbon.
I love ribbon...
Have you seen www.reasonableribbon.com?
oh my gosh, I L O V E ribbon.
Celery organdy - wide and narrow. It's gorgeous, and way more versatile than I imagined it would be.

Chocolate Grosgrain
Black Gingham
Cream Grosgrain
I went to the Flower Factory and bought 25 yards of the chocolate for $3!!! I think I have plenty now. lol!
I love and use everything I have (bluebird, eggplant, apricot, apple green, love the caramel gingham and the moss gingham, all the ginhams really). One thing I want to point out about the apricot ribbon, mine matches the barely banana perfectly (and goes very well with so saffron) but does not match apricot appeal as well (in my opinion). It is beautiful though, not sorry I ordered it! In organdy, I agree with a previous poster that the wide seems to be more useful (at least for how I know how to use it) than the narrow. Navy, olive, ivory and burgundy are the only organdy's I've had but love them all.
thanks ladies! I think I will use the narrow organdy more as I have a roll of the white wide SU! organdy and I really never use it...however I have a bunch of rolls of cheapie Michaels organdy ribbon and use it ALL the time...
Thanks so much!!
