Several years ago we had to pick names for accounts at work and my bosses son chose mine as he thinks I get treated like a princess at work. He even put this on a special name tag for me! The 1971 is the year I graduated. The p is the first initial of my name. So that is where princessp1971 came from.

My youngest son came up with my screen name. All the guys in the family have a mustang and have screen names relating to their cars ie. gr8stang,drk88gt, etc. He created mine because he thinks the things I make for ALL his girlfriends are great. It is the only way I get to scrap for girls as there are only boys in the family.
I wish I could have been as creative as all of you! LOL! Mine is pretty self explanatory...my first name, my maiden name initial and my last name initial. Go creative me! Hehe...:-D

This is awesome! I have loved reading everyone's posts - I just used my email, which I chose for a couple reasons: I have three kids and one husband, and because if I have to write it down on some entry thing or whatever, I don't have to be too specific about the 1 - some people think it's an L and then I don't get the junk mail!
I love this site - not only are you all creative on paper, but you've shared here how creative your lives are. AWESOME!!!
Some of you have cool names and stories! Not me, though. I started out scrapbooking, found SCS and decided to try stamping too. And since I'm a casual person, I dropped the g.
Was feeling silly when I did my avatar and am too lazy to change it. Besides, Barbie's face pasted over mine is like Botox for my whole face.
Mine, SusieMuslie68, comes from a school friend who thought that just calling me Sue was just too boring, so she came up with Susie Muslie (spelling wasn't her strong point because that is how she spelt it). She & I are still friends too & we haven't been in school for over 20 years now (if you say it fast enough it doesn't seem that long;)). The 68 is to remind me how young I am.

I'm a cat lover and had this old gal for 24 years before we put her to sleep. Her name was 'buttons'. I was going to use that as my name but someone else had it, so I just put a "2" after it.
This looked like a fun thread, so I think I'll jump in and add mine. RTJmom is really simple. My childrens names are Reagan, Tyler and Jonathan and guess what? I'm their mother!! See how well that works out?!
BTW, it's also what is on my license plate on my minivan. Wait a second: A minivan with a personalized license plate?? When did that happen? Oh well, so much for my corvette dream car!

That's hillarious!! I have 3 Mustang's myself, 2 of which are classics, so they run 1966 and 1969 tags. BUT my 06 GT plate reads: PONYGRL6 (ponygrl was taken, so I added the 6 for the model year).
My screen name is pretty dull: "GALET1" - it's what I was assigned for my work email account - it's always last name (or 1st 6 letters), plus first initial, in this case, the "1" is because my Mom was "galet" at nationwide.
My screen name on everything else is always "fordgrl99" - I have a 99 F150 with vanity plates: "FORDGRL". ;)
Roxy (Quicksilver for girls) is my favorite brand since I was in High school, 14 years ago. And stamper is obvious. I'm sure I could have used just my name but I wanted my screen name to say something about me.
Mine is one of my email addresses (I have a few, but this is the one I had when I signed up for SU way back when, although I'm not a demo anymore, now I use it for all craft related things)
S is my first initial, Crown is my last name and 8301 is my anniversary (august 3rd 2001)
Not very original I know. ;)

Reason: cause I can't spell *rolling my eyes here*
I'm a craft junkie involved in everything from stamping and card-making, sewing, crocheting, cross-stitching, to quilting. And I live in South Carolina. Not especially clever, I know.
It's great reading everyone else's name ideas.

Fura was an animated character that I fell in love with. She was so darn cute. Unfortunately, the animator no longer posts his work. Here's a picture of "Fura."

I came up with my screen name a long time ago when I wanted to indicate my home area, for some reason. I live on Vancouver Island. I am a woman, so vanislandwoman I became.
As a kid, my sisters took my first and middle name... Sue Nell...
combined them - "Snell" -
made a nickname = "Snellybelle"
I used to hate it but now it brings a warmth to my soul.
The rest of the story... my evil cousins went one step further..smellybelly
I still hate that one!
Sue

mugsy is our cat. last year he was diagnosed with fibrosarcoma, a virulent cancer. he had extensive surgery last january.....poor baby. now it has returned.....all of my screen names have mugsy in them....we will miss him. right now he seems fine.....happy, curious and loving
so, he will live on.......he's only 11......makes me sad to think of not having him with us.....
First, my name is Cathy, and a Fancy means sort of on a whim. In other words, I make whatever I feel at the time; stamping, quilting, other needlework, etc.
Ny first name is Natasja, But I get everyone to call me Tash with a H so there's no confusion ( and yes ppl looove to say my name with an actual J sound)
After I broke up with my fiance it was just my Daughter Katia and I, We call her Kat for short, so it became Natasja and Katia... TashnKat for short!

This is such a cute idea youhad Luciesfloozies...I just had to play my puppies names are Freddy and Cisco. Freddycisco Sounded funny so I dropped the first letter in each of their names. Thus...Reddyisco. What happens to the F and the C? I use them when I'm naming my cards!!
I am a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time stamper and was bitten by the diecut machine bug several years ago. Over the past couple years I have expanded on my diecut collection for fancy greeting cards, diecut bags, gift boxes, scrapbooks, etc. My most recent additon was the purchase of the Accucut GrandeMark machine which joins, my sizzix, cuttlebug, zipemate, Ellison Prestige Pro, and Big shot. I enjoy making cards with diecut embellishments and have quite a collection of various types of greeting card blanks I can diecut. Right now I am busy making 48 little handled gift bags to add a treat in for my hair salon clients in the assisted living where I work.
When I was in high school everyone called me Miki (short for Michelle). My last name starts with a B, so I turned my screennames/email into MikiBee, because it looks better than MikiB.
Well, I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, married a Yankee and moved to NY when I was 30 and lived there for 14 years, and now we've moved down to Kentucky. I figured that I've done the west coast thing, the east coast thing, and now it's time for me to be a Southern Belle, hence my name.
Oh... mine is a bit odd so I thought I'd chime in since this thread resurfaced!
My daughter is 7-1/2 years old and when she was little...2?, 3, 4... she was heavy into a sheep-loving phase ~ uncommon but intense. That morphed into the ever-popular equally-intense horse-loving phase. When the horse craziness started, one of her favorite stories and movie was Misty of Chincoteague. It's about the wild ponies on the island of Chincoteague off Virginia. The titular Misty was a foal and quickly became my daughter's adopted nickname. In the story, Misty's mother was Phantom (her father was Pied Piper). So, of course, those became my and my husband's nicknames.
Believe me, the looks I got in public when she called out "Phantom!" to me ... it was an interesting time . When I signed onto SCS a couple of years ago, it was still a now-and-again thing, especially when we were playing, so it seemed appropriate. Now, I always wonder when someone here refers to me as "Phantom" what they think it must mean. I'm thinking of changing my signature line to explain it because the origin is very endearing to me ~ but the name sounds a bit spooky!
My students name me this on my birthday. I taught high school and the pun was that I was Ms. B (Brooks but that is not what some of them called me;) ) On my birthday I told them how old I was and said "you do the math". Well, they got the year wrong (1954) but I was known as the Queen of the Kitchen (taught restaurant management and actually had a restaurant in the high school) so the rhyme for the rest of my teaching career was 53 Queen B.
You get very close running a restaurant and there are a lot of kitchen jokes-everyone gets a nickname. This was what the second year students could call me. First year Sous Chefs de cuisine got to use the Ms. B.
Mine is Curly chick. The curly part is because I have very naturally curly hair and the chick is from a bowling league I was in 3 years ago. We were the 'Hope Bowling Chicks' and I was, you guessed it, Curly Chick. I hated my hair for most of my middle and high school years (I graduated in 1983). Everyone 'feathered' their hair and my hair doesn't feather. But I had great hair for the mid '80's. Can you say 'BIG'!!!!!
What a fun thread. My screen name is my last name- Schmidt and many people add the 'y' to the end hence Schmidty......and I enjoy history quite a bit- and I am not all German, I am mostly Irish...so in honor of my heritage, I added a 'Mc' to the beginning of it (and my maiden name starts with Mc.....). That is how Mcschmidty evolved.
