My vote is for
*more brads in single color containers (especially to match hodgepodge hardware)
*patterned ribbon in single spools
*winter sports stamp set (snowboard, snowshoe, sled)
*golf stamp set
*penguin set
*BRING BACK THE STAZ-ON REFILLS!!!
*retire Blush Blossom
That's all I can think of right now. Do you think they will listen to our requests???
I'd like to see more ribbon, more coluzzle templates, giga sized punches, punches and stamps that go together along with coordinating paper (a la Looks Like Spring), more cool tools... show me something new and exciting!!
I also want a sentiment that says I'm praying for you. I have the others (I'm thinking of you or Get well), but they don't represent what I really would say (too impersonal).
I love the Fresh Fruit idea. I would like to see more "buffet" sets so I can pick just what I want & not have to have stamps that I would never use. Nice animal sets - not cartoonish - there are way too many cartoonish sets now. I would also like to be able to get eyelets & brads in the colors I want rather than in sets of colors. I also don't like the kits - too expensive, and many of them have items in there that I already have. I would have loved the Country Blessing set, but with all the other stuff added, it was just too expensive. HH sold separately - another example of a kit you have to buy with things in it you may not want.
I thought that the kits were a neat idea for someone just starting out in stamping. I liked a lot of those stamps, but I think there are similar things in the catalog. I remember being overwhelmed the very first time I ordered, trying to pick out stamp sets and then realizing all of the other things I would need if I actually wanted to complete a project.
I wanted to add that I also love the idea of primas in our SU colors! I also agree with the idea of a more sophisticated wedding set. I haven't found what I want. I could use a sympathy set as well.
I'm seeing lots of great ideas here, but I don't think you'll ever get everyone to agree on retiring a color to bring in a new one. I love ruby red too!
great thread, I've been reading some of the posts. so many great items and changes people would love to make and have!!!! they all sound so wonderful and expensive!! I don't have everything I want yet, if this stuff does make it's way to the catalog I'm sure it'll take me ten years to get
everything!!!! LOL
Not to spill the beans, BUT- I've read every one of the posts in this thread, and Close to my Heart will be coming out with a new spring 2007 catalog... That's all I'm sayin! ;)
More than anything, I would like better samples. I'm not a fan of staples(!) and I think most of the examples in the catalogue are designed to hook the newbie stamper. I wish that they would have about 10% of the samples along the caliber of Debbie Olsen, Jeanne S, etc. I'd also love to see them mix sets -- and get away from the basic formula of set + words + background. This girl needs inspiration!!
Secondly, I would love to have polka dot organdy ribbon!! it is a must have and would love to be able to get it through SU.
Finally, I would love love love for SU to put out a magazine for non demos.
I totally agree!!

i would like to see the bitty books stay! and the in colors but have more in colors!! i would like to see a cheaper, better quality adhesive...i'm tired of wasting 1/2 of a snail when only 1/2 the width sticks to my cs! more ribbon!!!! and not only 2 yards of 5 different ribbons on a card, i mean more like 15 yards on a spool! i love the hodgepodge hardware but really cannot afford to use it with my groups...so i'd like it if we could "restock" without having to buy everything in the tin!
i thought of some other things....
NO PRISMA FLOWERS!!!!! i don't know why, but i don't like those.
more 2 sided papers in the catalog. and keep the punches coming!!! i have almost all of them and i love them all! gold, silver, copper, pewter brads that have a matt finish (like the HPH KITS!) i have not ordered any simply sent kits yet but think it's a great idea and hope they add some to the catalog. ok, that's it....i think! i'm sure i will think of more later!
I would love to see a non-demo mag with progressive cards for different experienced stampers. ie: use the same set (from a mini) and do a simple, intermediate and advanced techinuqe card. Something similar to the inspiration pages. Just use the same card...one plain and one with extra bells and whistles.
I LOVE that idea!!! That would be just perfect.

Also, some running sets. You know, cross country, track, 5Ks, Marathons (not for me for my sweetie and his little sister).
I'm a runner and have been looking all over for running stamps! Would LOVE to see some too!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm responsible for making thank you cards for our annual Run fundraiser. Last year I had to special order a tennis shoe stamp from a company that makes stamps to order. Sure wish SU had a set connected with runners/joggers.
I hope that the new winter mini is just a preview of the awe some things we will see in July! I am planning on ordering 95% of the mini....if that is the case I am so broke come July!
Ok, I remembered some things.. lol I would love to see an ink pad called Luscious Lime!! I also agree about the Hodgepodge Hardware, some of us may not like/use everything in it. I also agree about the adhesive- snail doesn't seem to hold all that well when there's humidity. lol I love my therm-o-web memory tape runner, I can always hope they start to carry it. OOO how about an adhesive starter kit...(several different widths of sticky strip, multi glue- etc..) Still love the idea of Charcoal paper- and the idea of watercolor pencils in all 48 colors is awesome. Maybe a scuba diving set with fish, coral and such.
I just got an order intoday!!! hoot! lol. I would love to see boxes that fit stamp sets. I dont mind making it fit like a puzzle as some are a tight fit. But I just got the big Pieces and its in this box box and fills only half of it. I dont have a lot of space so I would like boxes that fit the stamp sets

Hey, I know, they can just add more stamps in each set to fill the box!
This is what I would LOVE!
The Journaling Font CD's could have frames similar to label classics that you could type in a sentiment and then alter ther frame or label to fit.
Also it would have templates with common card and envelope sizes so you could easily see where your sentiment could go on a card or envleope.
I LOVE the idea of the new color line..........luscious lime would fit into it great!
My wishlist would be:
single word stamps. (some sets aren't my type but, I love a word stamp in it so you have to buy the whole set to get that word stamp)
I agree with the cat and dog sets that aren't too kid like. I have 2 cocker spaniels. I would love to see different dogs in 1 set.
more of a variety of punches not just circles and squares for layering.
Kelley
I have the SU watercolor pencils and the greens are horrible!! They are all the same and dont match ANY SU colors!! The quality and quantity are wonderful but they truely need to improve the greens. They need to change them to celery, artichoke, moss and hunter. They could add a crandberry and softer pink, but the others are pretty good.

I would love to see the In-colors stay as I really love them! For stamp sets, I would like to see more quotes (on the line of Edgy Eloquence, but for different occasions), native american images, and nature sets. I can't wait to see the new double-sided paper that they introduce as they have really been hitting the mark lately (although the brown/white in the spring mini is not my cup of tea...maybe a black/white/red formal design).
The non-demo mag sounds wonderful - especially for some of the 'different' ways to use stamps, accessories etc.
Keep the popular colours of the 'in colours' - take a vote or use the buying numbers of the colours.
Definitely more stitched ribbon - in larger quantities and colours.
Charcoal....how cool!!!! BUT a true charcoal.
I love this thread.....
My wish list includes paisley ribbon, polka dot ribbon, in colors in markers and pastel chalks, a larger pack of shimmery white, other colors of shimmery paper, more stamps for guy cards, brads in fun shapes, and a stamp set to use for party supplies, weddings, anniversaries etc.

I would like to see the pens for the IN colors, a pale pink paper would be nice, less flowers, more ribbon, an "adult set"-with martini glass or champagne glass-great thread!
