Join the RAK group, and you'll make plenty of new stampin' friends to send them to! There are also birthday committees you can join, so you can brighten someone's special day with a card.
I can't make them fast enough. It takes me several hours just to make one, so I don't make that many. I've only got about 3 spare cards lying about. My husband claims the majority of them that I make, and a co-worker (who saves his Michael's coupons for me) would take a card from me every day if I could make him one every day. So mostly, I give them away to these two people. The other 1 percent are birthday or Christmas cards that also get given away.
But once a month I go to a card workshop, and take home four cards from there, so I collect those up and give those to an older friend for her own use. Neither my husband or my co-worker wants these cards 'cause I didn't design them, so she gets them.
At least twice a year my MIL comes and goes through my boxes of cards..picks any number she wishes to and I provide the accomodating envelopes..this makes her so happy! she's on a limitied budget and cards are costly! this makes her happy..in turn makes my dh happy..in turn makes me happy..in turn makes the $ I spend look more reasonable..after all, how much do you spend on gifts! lol
I've also sent packs as gifts to friends and sister in laws..everyone loves getting these cards
I'm too new to post a link to this website, so I'll have to give you directions. But if you go to st.judesranch.org, click on the "How you can give opportunities" which will take you to a new page, look to the left and click on the "Recycled Card Program" link, it discusses a program they will start up again in the Spring. They accept only the fronts of cards, which the children glue to cardstock so they can raise money for themselves. But if you cut out the fronts, you can still stamp the other half for donation as well.
New Scrapper -- if you copy the website and just post it in the message splitcoast is smart enough to link it for you. Just an fyi for future reference.
Also I have several hundred cards. I have good intentions of sending cards to people I just never get around to it. Maybe we should create a send a card to spend challenge to go along with the stamp to spend challenge.

I've tried that several times, and I keep getting a pop up that I need to have made 3 posts before I can post a link to a URL. I've just made my first new post, everything else has been replies. So, I'm working on being able to post links, but thanks anyway.
I just stuffed 55 St. Patrick's Day cards in envelopes that are going out today in the mail to a guy named Keith that runs a website called ANGEL STAMPERS FOR SOLDIERS He sends them out to deployed troops. My brothers are both currently deployed, each their third deployment, one in Iraq and the other in Afghanistan.. their units are both on the mailing list and my mom told me that my brother in Iraq just recently received a large package of cards for him to hand out to his fellow soldiers, she said that he was quite excited about receiving it... if you have extras, check out the site ~ be sure to read the guidelines on how to prepare the cards when you mail them.
Thanks for reading ~ Pam

What about church Bazaars..they have craft sales...you could package them up and donate half the money to the church and the other half is yours...I haven't done it myself but I hear lots of other do it...and sometimes do very well.
My New Year's resolution was to send at least one card every week. So far so good! I've even sent more than one occasionally. It's a great feeling to know someone else is enjoying my work. I send a lot of "thinking of you" type cards, because you don't need a special occasion to send these.
I'm a military wife so I have had no problems finding places for my cards. In November I donated over 150 completed cards to a friend to send over to some troops in Afghanistan. I also gave her my supply of old swap card-fronts so she could make those up into cards.
Or you could take them to a local nursing or old age home. They would love them there.
I package mine up in sets of 10 (a variety of occasions) to give as birthday gifts to 'the women in my life.' I also save some for my own stash, so I don't have to make a card at the last minute, as I usually don't have time at the last minute.
I find that I stamp a lot of cards and just don't give out as many as I stamp.
I have like two or three bins full of cards. Any suggestions??
Our Las Vegas RMHouse is always looking for handcrafted cards and envelope donations. The kids use them to send thank yous. The parents use them to cheer up the kids.

Another me!! LOL, I'm getting ready to send an entire package of cards to a friend for whom I've made several cards that I always forget to send. I feel terrible when I do this, lol!
I emailed the Ronald McDonald house that I had many cards to donate. They were all packaged in a clear envelope and included a white envelope and I was sent back a message that they were not intrested in the cards. So much for Ronald McDonald house. I did post in a forum here somewhere a copy of that email. It was very curt.
Now I send all mine and any donated ones to the troops.
Blessings.
A co-workers son just got deployed to Iraq and we're doing up a care package. I'm sending a bunch over to them.... I also take them into work and put them on the break room table and let people take what they want. They are very happy and gush over my work. I get great compliments and it helps me get my clutter down.;)
I've also done some and donated through treads on here. I know I did up 15 or 20 for the Virginia Tech .
This site is wonderful for sharing and caring;) . Just check out the threads and you'll find a great home for your wonderful talent!
