Oh my goodness...I know just what you mean! I started to 'branch out' a few years ago...One of my first non-SU stamp purchases was from Hambo Stamps...and I have never looked back! They are still one of my favorite companies. Hambo has some really cute designs - animals (they're famous for their ingenious pig designs! hilarious!), people, holidays, sentiments, etc - and they have the funniest sayings too! Recently they have even added their own line of digi stamps. My personal favorites are in the 'Wee Henry' line - so much fun! Anyway, I would highly recommend you check them out. (The owners, Monica & Tim, are awesome too, - so nice!) They have a blog and a monthly Hogs & Sketches challenge that you could play in - they even have a free digi image you can use in the challenge. You can find them here: www.hambostamps.com
Hope to see you playing in the challenge next month! :-D Hope this helps!
Tough question. My collection is exceedingly eclectic.
I love:
Bombshell Stamps
Third Coast Stamps
Cats' Pajamas
Lost Coast Stamps
Paper Trey
AMuse
Rubber Necker
Stamp Zia
Hero Arts
SU
Sweet Pea (new Fantasy collection)
Cornish Heritage Farms (mostly for backgrounds, greetings, and the Scene It line, and the Kim Hughes collection is adorable)
Gina K (Absolutely the best customer service ever of any company. Also her cardstock, esp the white is AMAZING)
Papertrey (I think everyone knows what's good about Papertrey)
Hero Arts
Those four get 90% of my stamping money. I could happily restrict myself to just them. But I don't have to, so that's fun.

Bought 3 stamps ($25) from Kazzass (through a catalogue) and was disappointed that they were so small (they looked bigger in the catalogue) and wondering how I am supposed to be able to see 'where/how' the image will stamp. Haven't used them yet. Should have a play with them I suppose. Don't think I will be buying from them again. If anyone has used them, some feedback would be good.
Aren't Kazzazz the people who took on Lucy's stamps?

Like many, I started out with SU! only stamps. I've now ventured out to include Unity, gel-a-tins, and a few others. Who produces your favourites? Whose images are luring you?
Haven't read all the responses here, but just had to say... isn't this like saying "which child is your favorite?" LOL It would be impossible to choose!
I also started with SU and have now branched out to many wonderful companies!
right now mt favorites are:
INKY IMPRESSIONS
BILMALARNAS (sold at paperjewels.net)
Ching-Chou Stamps (sold at paperjewels.net)
PTI
GINAK
BELLES & WHISTLES
SARAH KAY
WHIFF OF JOY
JessicaLynnOriginals. Creates some of the cuties stamps and the prices are great. They are fun and she will also create just for you. She made me a pink ribbon stamp for breast cancer and it is wonderful. You should check out her site. This young lady is talented.
JessicaLynnOriginal hands down. I've been using them for years and every single one of them has been great. They are good sizes, quality and prices and she even makes custom designs. Haven't bought any other stamps in quite a while unless they are a good enough price not to pass up.
I still get some SU stamps once in a while, but most of my money goes to Gina K, Waltzingmouse, Stamping Bella, and Unity. I really like PTI stamps, but the shipping to Canada is ASTRONOMICAL so I rarely order from them.
90% of my budget goes to PTI, 5% to Unity and 5% to SU.
I just love the colors and how everything matches with PTI. SU is nice too, but for some reason, the inks and papers are richer and more vibrant with PTI. Not to mention all the hoopla and fun we have for release parties, challenges and interacting with the design teams. They are awesome!
Stampin' Up (though I wish we could trade in that apostrophe for a g)
A Muse
Gina K
Hambo
Memory Box (especially the penguins)
Kim Hughes for CHF
High Hopes
Riley Moose
Rosie's Roadshow
. . . and others too numerous to mention . . .

What a fun, fun thread. After leaving SU, I'm definitely an equal opportunity shopper! Seems like everywhere I look there are amazing images to play with. I love, love Mo's Digital Pencil, but Whippersnapper (love fellow Texan Anna Wight's images), Penny Black and Magnolia have gotten some love from me, too.
My Favorite Things is by far my most favorite and used stamp company. I have a binder dedicated to their stamps (although it's not very filled...someday it will be - lol) and it's my "go to" when I'm looking for a creative push or inspiration. I'm working on my collection of the "Who's That Girl" series, although I'm far from completing it. I figure one by one is how it's done. (Hey, that rhymed!)
I also love A Muse stamps - the quality is great and I love how many of their sets are quirky, like me. :-)
Believe it or not, I go to my Studio G clear sets A LOT! I love how inexpensive they are, so I can get tons of them, in a wide variety of themes and styles. It isn't the highest of qualities but I've figured out which inks work best so I don't have any issues with the images.

Over the past couple years I REALLY cut back on spending. Just in the last year I've started adding to my collection again...usually clear or unmounted stamps.
I'm a monthly club member for The Stamps of Life and I've got a few Our Craft Lounge.
Other than that I just go for the image rather than the company anymore. If it speaks to me, I buy it.
