I don't know if I am in a rut or what...but I seem to go through Chocolate Chip like water! I have come to the conclusion that I like really like a dark base for some reason. In fact, tonight I am sitting here making cards and my colors are: Kraft, Really Rust, and...you guessed it...Chocolate Chip!
I just thought it would be fun to see what others have to say...and perhaps it would inspire me to pick a different color to use for once!
I do not have much SU cardstock but I seem to always reach for pink and green. I constantly remind myself to pick another color. Maybe it is because I have made so many cards for younger girls lately.

I lean alot towards the guava and wasabi lately, but will soon be in trouble. Other than that, I always love the Olive and Plum combo ... and Coral with Ruby Red.
I just looked at my gallery, lol, and noticed a lot of pinks and blues, too ... funny you don't realize what colors are your favorites until you look back.

Somehow, I end up using So Saffron... I don't even "like" yellow LOL... Actually, I think it's because it's in a few of my favorite DSPs... BTW, does using Chocolate Chip give you a sweet tooth?

I know! I only noticed because it seems I am always ordering CC!
Wow...this is really cool! You all have some color combos I would not have thought of! I am really going to challenge myself to think outside my comfort zone!!

Hey YOU!!! You know me too well, dontcha??!! LOL
I have a pack of SS DSP you can have if you need it!!
Oh, goodness. I use a lot of Chocolate Chip too! Other favorites include Real Red, Old Olive, Regal Rose (although not so much lately) and last year's IN colors. I am still trying to let the new colors grow on me, but I think Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red may become my Go To Colors for the next year.
If I'm using DP I usually choose that first and then decide which CS to go with it. I'm sitting here looking at my DP rack (like those in stores layered on an angle) and I see a big layer of pink and blue. Only a few sheets of the purples. Everything else seems to be about equal.
Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue - I love pairing them with so many different colours, and it seems I am always out of them. Thankfully my order just came in and I'm stocked once again!
For me, it is very seasonal. Now that we are approaching fall, I LOVE Really Rust, Old Olive, & Not Quite Navy.
This summer, I was using a lot of pinks (with chocolate chip sometimes!) and lighter purples.
But if I had to pick my absolute fave's...So Saffron, Always Artichoke, Basic Gray, Not Quite Navy, Elegant Eggplant and Sahara Sand. Guess I'm mostly a rich regal & earth element kinda gal. ;-)

I, too, like dark card bases, and I tend to use a lot of browns, blacks, and burgundies. I also use a lot more green and orange than I ever thought I would, but the darker/dirty/muted greens and oranges, because they work well with vintage images.
Usually any light blue comes first, then Chocolate Chip!!! I also love to use any DP, really...

I'm big on black, usually with real red and white or vanilla. And I have been using a lot of so saffron/bashful blue/pretty in pink/certainly celery combo with the spring fling paper (and cutie pie paper with those colors and red). I get inspired by the designer paper....I let it do the color work for me!
