Trying to do a google search and not having good results! The book that holds everyones birthdays and anniversaries for each year...so January is Aunt sue on the 4th and so on.... I searched birthday/anniversary calendar, but couldn't really find any good blogs with ideas...mostly shopping sites and such. So if there is another name for it or you have any good bookmarked ones that I could look at, I would appreciate it!
Organizer brings up the boxes or such...I guess i just want a notebook style thing that has all the months and then you can fill in who has what month, KWIM? I will keep searching for some...I know i saw some on a few blogs awhile back!
I just call them Birthday Books.
I've made a few using a flag book style album with 12 "flags" for the birthdays. I got DH to design a nice layout for me in a DTP program, which helped .
Hope you find what you're looking for.
Here are a couple of photos of one of mine: Birthday Book - flag book : open by Cook22 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Well now those will work....i don't want anything with pockets for cards, just the notebook, but I could definitely work with what is shown and then go from there. Thanks everyone...if you find any others let me know, wink, wink!
If it were me, I'd make something that is more like a traditional pocket planner, you know the kind that have several lines for each day? That way, I could list birthdays, anniversaries and other special events to remember. Here's a photo for an idea of what I'm talking about: Jon Hart Refills - The Lime Leopard
I would love to try making one of these using the tropical, palm tree designer papers, etc. I love the beach, etc....sounds like a new project to tackle!!

I'm glad you said this I always feel like the lone one out when I need a birthday book that accommodates 9 birthdays and anniversaries over 3 consecutive days and still want it to look tidy. And that is just one occurance we have several months like that.
Hi there -- I've used a perpetual calendar from Microsoft Word. Open up Word, open the help funtions and type "birthday calendar template" in the search field. Microsoft Office Online will offer you several choices. The one I used was titled "birthday and anniversary calendar (6 pp)". It gives you two months per page. Click on it, then you will get a preview and the opportunity to download it. It is free. You can just cut it right in half, but I did trim each half down a bit more (about 1/2 inch on each side and about 3/4 inch on the top and bottom) because it seemed like there was alot of white space around and it looked more professional to have a "custom" size rather than just an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet cut in half.
I made my chipboard covers 1/2 inch wider and 1/4 inch longer than the finished page size. I bound it with the top of the pages and the top of the covers flush and it left a 1/4 inch overlap on the other three sides.
If you save the template to your desktop, you can edit it and add in birthdays on the lines. I did this, so when I gave them to my family at Christmas, everyone's birthday and anniversary was already printed on the calendar.

Suzanne...thank you for explaining it....now i can make it in a size i want! I am mostly computer illiterate, so all help is greatly appreciated!
I just now had time to click on the links to see the other ladies beautiful work. The calendars I described that I made ended up looking very much like Mary's (craftymomto2).
