Hi everyone....just curious who is planning to do something creative this weekend? Anyone going to a crop? Hosting a stamp event? Or just planning to spend time at home making something? I sure hope to get in my craft room this weekend. It's our first in several weeks without any kids sport events, so I plan to get my fingers inky and make some cards and layouts. I will also be helping cut a science fair display title. It's nice when you have an arsenal of craft supplies at your student's disposal for those types of things!
This is my weekend to get together with my Stamping Friend. She makes "over the top" cards and pushes me outside my comfort zone. I am always happy with the result.
Maybe if we have time tomorrow, we can make something from one of the VSN challenges.
I hope to get some stamping time in this weekend. I stamp at our dining room table so I will be sitting at one end of the table stamping and DH will be sitting at the other end of the table doing tax paperwork. He mutters and grumbles through the entire process but he likes it when I at least sit nearby and stamp while he complains. :p

My sixth grader is in the middle of her science fair project, too. She is still conducting experiments but if my older daughter's project from then is any indication, my craft supplies will get heavily used, too!
It is very nice having so much on hand for their school projects! Never a last minute scramble!
I am going to try to get into my stamp room this weekend as I need to get going on my 1000 for the next card sale at church. Plus I need Easter and Mothers Day cards...kots of them.
My stamping friends will be coming on 3/21 to stamp and eat.
This is non-stamping weekend. The weather is beautiful so I'm gardening. This will be the only non-crafting weekend I've had in the past 3 weeks and the next 3 weekends are booked with stamping. I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty with "dirt" instead of ink. : )
We had our scrap Wednesday and next weekend we will have another. But what is VSN? I plan on reorganizing my dies. I am half way thru. I bought 4 new dies and need to make some cuts and play with them.
I'm planning to finish a couple of cards I started yesterday. Yep, I'm really slow at this, but that's OK! I usually have to let things sit at least overnight before I can decide if projects look OK or need something more or some sort of change.
I made three cards and got a good start on a scrapbook page while I was hiding out in my crafty space during the nitty gritty of the science fair project. I'm now cutting the title and have helped my son mat all of his documentation. I'll be glad when it's complete!
We're having some beautiful weather here right now so I've been working in the yard most of the day. I have some images stamped that I'll probably color but I don't think I'll really have time to complete anything this weekend. I can usually get more crafting done during the week when the family isn't around.

I finally got time away from snow and ice removal to play with my butterfly thinlet dies, some efs of Anna Griffin style and Provo Craft, used up some watercolored background papers for die cuts, and sampled some potential Christmas card layouts. Canine children cooperated at my feet (really fun to try to move from the dining room table with those big boys!). Yesterday I watched 2 videos (1) to figure out the dryer sheet technique to get the die cut pokies to stick and the die to release from the paper and (2) a simple way to use my tree punch to get varying sized trees for this year's cards. Very happy about the quality of the clearance cards I bought from ClearBags - the champagne color looks lustrous with an AG feminine ef and little else, the blueberry ones look good with anything of snowflake pattern of efs, and the mallard green ones are striking backgrounds for my holiday greeting design attempts. A productive 4 hours, I'll admit. Domestics will have to wait! This felt almost as good as pure sunshine. Card making trio will meet next Thursday. Diane
Diane (ciocidi) oddly while you are playing with dies, I'm doing a digi card thanks to your inspirational posts! I was asked to do a card by a policeman for his mom. My daughter is a dispatcher and that is how the connection was made. He wanted a nude red head sleeping in a dog bed. YIKES! I declined. Where would I even begin. I turned the tables and said "You find an image or stamp and I'll do it." Thankfully, he found a woman with a bottle of wine in her hand sleeping WITH clothes on and she's not in a dog bed! I took the challenge and am having fun with this one.

I am part of our local stamp store "card club". I volunteered to bring the card project this month-club is March 9. Up to 16 could attend, and I guess we don't get a final head count. I'm cutting out out 18 kits to be safe. It's possible a lot less could attend.
I have 10 kits cut out, so Sunday night I'm finishing up. I've had a busy few days and can't finish up till then. I'll also be making dessert Sunday night for this stamp group. I've lots of other things going on Sunday, so I'll be tired out once the work week starts back up!
I'm using a stamp set and dsp I got at the stamp store and SU card stock & ribbon & punch (there's a butterfly that's not yet attached).

I'm an SU hobby demo and don't have my own customers, but I enjoy teaching. My upline lets me do projects for her clubs sometimes. Yesterday I demoed the mini treat bag and the berry basket dies. It was a lot of fun. I prepped on Saturday.
I know I am a little late....but I was determined to play in my Craft Room over the weekend to try out the tutorial on SCS for the Bokeh technique. I spent 3 days at hospital last week with routine appointments & tests for a family member so I was hanging out for some "me time". And I am pleased to say that I had a great play and made a card and are working on the 2nd. If you haven't try the Bokeh technique, I highly recommend it: it was easy and fun
Last weekend was beautiful so I brought out all of the patio furniture and swapped out winter dcor for spring in my yard and got a great start. We had a lot of snow and my ground is way too wet for me to do anything with it - yet - but this, too, shall pass
It's going to rain all this coming weekend sooooo I am going to FOIL FOIL FOIL with my new laser printer and hot laminator WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
