I want to make a wedding planner that I saw in the April/May Papercrafts magazine and the creator has lettered tabs, but the words that go with those letters aren't in the directions. I've never planned a wedding, so I have no idea what they stand for. What sort of categories would go in a wedding planner to make it useful? The person who made this one has R, D, F, C, G, L, F, C, S, G, H and M. I know some would be reception, flowers, guests, dinner (maybe) but I can't think of what the others might be.
F could also be favors
R could also be registry or ring
G could also be gifts
S could also be song or seating arrangement
I would add an
I for Invitations
P for (wedding party to list best man, maid of honor, bridesmaids and whatever the groom's boys are called, ring bearer, flower girls )
V for vows
You can put whatever you want/need on the tabs. You don't have to use letters if whole words would work better for you. I'd make sure BUDGET is one of the categories! ;)
A few things came to mind:
F = florist
C = catering
M = menswear (or T for tuxedos)
S = sites
Plus I would add V for vendor to keep a quick list for easy reference of all names and phones (maybe staple in business cards) for the dozens of people you do business with to get married).
R = Reception, Rehearsal, Receipts
D = Dress, Decorations, Details
F = Flowers, Favors
C = Ceremony, Church, Catering, Cake, Contracts
G = Guest List, Gown, Groom/Groomsmen
L = Limo, Liquor, Licenses (marriage)
S = Stationery, Seating, Song List
H = Honeymoon, Hair, Hotel
M = Music, Makeup, Miscellaneous
