Okay ladies. Thank you to everyone who has given tips over the last few weeks on my wedding invitations. I have played around a bit more with them. I decided that the polished stone background was making it hard to see the writing and just wasn't working with the invite (however beautiful it was). Someone said to try stamping something on the background and that is what I tried. I have the basic invite down I'm just trying to decide on which cover and ribbon to use. Comments welcome!!
If I had a choice I would pick the Gold one. It seems brighter and more eye catching. I bet they are more beautiful in person than what you can see here. HTH
Congratulations on your approaching wedding!

They are both gorgeous - you will definitely achieve the "WOW" factor with either one, but my choice would be the crinkled gold. It just has that extra something.

I like the gold crinkled the best, but I would use organdy ribbon (perhaps gold or ivory) rather than the grosgrain ribbon. I think the organdy just looks a little more elegant.
Both are beautiful. Most of the time, I prefer copper over gold. HOWEVER...in this case, I agree that the gold crinkle really adds an extra WOW! It just seems more elegant.
I did have the gold organdy ribbon, the smaller one. I tried using it on the invitation but you could still see the holes i punched out so that's why i tried the grosgrain. i could always use the organdy on the outside for the holder, but don't you think it would look funny with two different ribbons?
