My cousin tied Hersehy kisses on a spoon (two with flat sides together) with tulle and added a tag that read something like "a spoon full of kisses from......" It is really cute and you can use spoons to match the color of the wedding...print the tag and stamp them if you like...
I made hershey kiss roses... I am not even sure if anyone knew that they were edible or not though LOL
Good luck in your search I am sure that you will have lots of good idea's
Hersey Nuggets are also good....stamp or use a wheel on labels, wrap around the Hersey Nuggets all done.
Remember - You can print the bride/groom's names and wedding date on the labels first before stamping/wheeling. ** Sorry I can't remember the size BUT there is one that fits perfectly around the nuggets. **
I absolutely LOVE the look of the sour cream containers. They are so pretty!
Another suggestion is a small cello bag with wild flower seeds. A note on top of the bag suggests that guests can scatter the flower seeds along a road somewhere, adding a little beauty to our world.
I guess it wasn't exactly a small wedding favour, but it was meaningful for me. I had guests send in a favourite recipe(s) & they could include any special associations with it. I compiled all the recipes into a cookbook. I gave each family a cookbook and a small jar of apple butter (a family recipe) with a little tag that said "Spread a Little Love". Everyone loved the cookbook and I know its something they'll keep and treasure for a long time.

For my wedding favors we ordered M&M's in our wedding color and had our Names (John & Cassi) put on one color and our wedding date 10/23/04 on the other color.
You can order them from www.mms.com look under custom M&M's. They have different colors you can choose from.
I put them in little fabric bags. Everyone loved them. I still have an unopened bag of them.
I love the idea of sour cream containers in vellum! Oooohhh!
I helped a friend with hers. She burned cds for everyone of meaningful songs. We used decorative paper as the cd covers and printed the "back" list of songs and stamped alittle something in the empty space
I did tile coasters for my wedding. They weren't colored, but I would have colored them if I would have known how at the time. They had tags with our info on them & a note to our guests. I liked them because I knew the guys would like them as well. I have seen them at people's homes when we have visited so I guess they liked them. Another idea is a cookie cutter. My friend did a heart cookie cutter with a poem. They were really cute & I kept it, but not sure the guys would like them as well.
Location: Yup, that's me and WILLIE NELSON!!! (insert heart here!) :)

A few days ago I uploaded the 85 ceremony favors for my sisters wedding. They were a hit. I also have the cover page to the recipe book I made for her. That might help!
I find it hard to believe an invasive species of plant would be that easy to come by in seed form. Even the loosestrife I can buy in missouri is sterile - can't purchase seeds only the live plant, only one example I could give. Good luck with your favors. My daughter didn't want any- : (
