How weird. I was thinking earlier about something like this. Wondering how to encourage members to leave comments on my cards if they have an idea on how to improve a card design. Thanks!
I'll go take a look at some of the galleries in this thread.
Sorry to kind of get off topic here, but I was just wondering how this thread works. Are we supposed to visit the post above us and then the person below leaves a comment for me? I am assuming this is like the comment threads? I think this is a wonderful idea...sometimes I need another opinion about my cards.

Yeah, I think that's how everyone is doing it. I also put the "constructive comment" disclaimer in my signature so people can see it easily. I'll go browse your gallery now.

At first, I assumed you go to the one above... but I think everyone has been having fun roaming around to the galleries of anyone posted in this thread.
I've had some wonderful suggestions, too, that definitely would improve the card(s) in question!!

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful comments -- all are really helpful! I'm off to visit Frenchy.

Ooooh ... yes please can I join in.
Any constructive criticism (and I'm sure there will be plenty!!!) will be much appreciated as I often think something's missing or not right on a card but can't think what!!
Thanks
Just found this thread...I think this is a WONDERFUL idea! Like other's have said....I want to know how to improve, and while the "glowing" comments are nice, Sincere comments/suggestions would be even better!!!
I will try and look at galleries this afternoon (this is my quick fix before work! No time to look!!)
And...count me in!! (guess I should try and get up a new card huh?!)
I'm in for this! I think my "The Office" daily quote calendar predicted I should participate...

Ok I "fixed" my signature to include this thread and my gallery, it shows up in forum posts, but not in comment posts...Do I need to be a certain "level" for my sig to show up in the gallery?
I visited caseymae and sleepy Friday. I don't have anything new in my own gallery as I have just moved to Silverdale, Washington and live in a hotel! No, I have not had time to visit Rubber Soul yet, maybe next week.

Left a comment for Linda...still need to look at other galleries (sorry gals...life is getting in the way)
I would welcome ANY suggestions for this one....was going for a simple OLC look....but to me the bg NEEDS something....texture....dp? some sponging? DTP to give contrast? Simply Friends by star at Splitcoaststampers
ok....I started to look at Caseymae's gallery....can I just say that it is kinda scary to offer suggestions when I don't think that my stamping is at the level it should be (kinda "who am I to suggest this....!!)
I'll walk away, take a deep breath and then seriously try!!

I'd like to join but I'm a little unclear on the process. Do I comment on any and all galleries (one at a time, of course!) or is this a 'line' type thing where we comment on whoever posts above us?
I love constructive criticism (obviously not the "what were you thinking when you did THAT!" type of thing - unless, of course, I started it! :lol I also feel that I sometimes see something different in a card but don't always know if the poster would appreciate my perspective!

Looking through your galleries, one thing I think would be VERY helpful and appreciated, is to provide more information, especially with a special project card.
I see a couple of you are kinda new, and I remember when I was new - I would see 'project cards' [magic sliders, treat packaging, card set boxes, tea bag folds] and be so excited to try something new/different. It it very helpful, in the learning process, that there was a link provided for the project/tutorial/directions, etc. Its as easy as using Copy/Paste clicks. There is nothing more frustrating that wanting more information, and no where to find it.
I am also one of those believers that feel it is a courtesy to put some basic info in the 'Photo Details" box, when uploading photos. This has always been a big debate topic - it is again on the forums, too- but I try not to be selfish with my knowledge, and dont always have time to 'be referred to a blog'.
thank you all for sharing beautiful work, and good luck-
Valerie
I agree with the idea about posting the details. I like to look at the gallery submissions during my break at work. Unfortunately, blogs are filtered and unaccessible where I work. So, I'm unable to view them right at that moment. By the time I get home, I've forgotten the link. Thanks for posting this idea.
