I know that you can buy it from Cricut for a hefty price, but does anyone know some cheaper alternatives? A friend is needing some to make some cool favors for her daughter's birthday party, and I'm going to help her. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!!

Stampin' Up! has some here. If you enter your demonstrator or link to it through your demonstrator's website, you get the preferred price. I'm not sure how the price compares as I don't have a Cricut, but I love the color choices!
They are a Canadian company and I'm not sure if they ship to the US, but its worth a shot. I was very happy with the quality of the product and the customer service. You can't beat the price either.
I am fairly new to the Cricut, but have followed along with the Cricut message forum and a few blogs and have read about lots of people using contact paper successfully. Of course, it won't last as long as vinyl but you know how quickly the kiddies lose interest in things!
