A TRIBUTE TO SPLITCOAST!!!
As another day passes and I am still on Splitcoast
To the owners and founders I offer this toast.
I remember the day back in April last year.
That day was the day I first visited here.
I was careful to choose the best user name.
Knowing it was the link to my inevitable fame!
My husband was happy, a new interest for me.
I was enjoying myself, he was just thrilled to see.
And now it is January, the start of a new year
My husbands all nervous, concerned, full of fear!
Hes noticed some changes, is beginning to see
My stress over challenges, wonders how can that be?
He doesnt understand when an artist appears
With a card so wonderful it brings me to tears.
I get bummed when I see one because I know I can do it!
I just have to work harder, get inspired, just hop to it!
My life is just chaos, my house a disaster
My computer is goodits working faster and faster.
My son has grown up, now lives across town.
No longer a witness when Splitcoast is down!
Im okay, in control, my addiction does not show.
My husband is busy, there is no way he could know.
At this time in my life there is no need to fret.
Our relationship is good, like the day that we met.
No reason to worry since on the day that we wed,
For better or worse, people heard what he said!
If divorce should happen, I can make a great card.
My friends will all comment.tell me, dont take it so hard!
So thanks for this website and all that you share.
Ill see you tomorrowmy husband doesnt care!

Oh, this is great, girl! I agree with all you wrote in your poem of tribute! So are you saying we can legitimately blame SCS for our houses not being as clean as they use to be? ha! ha! Well, not only do you make fantastic cards, but you write poetry, too! Does the talent ever cease?

Oh Cindy, this poem brings me to tears...of laughter, of semi-shame, of in awe of a marriage that has survived and thrived with SCS...Many congratulations on your anniversary, to SCS, and to your wonderful marriage. Now, that's something to celebrate!!

Great poem, and sooo true! Happy Anniversary also! My husband doesn't know about my addiction yet. I get on when he's at work!!
When I hear the garage door open, I always have to minimize and jump up to PRETEND that I've been thinking about what to have for dinner. (pantry door open, fridge open and a skillet on the stove!) He's still clueless! Maybe after 32 years, he'll finally know!
Happy Anniversary!
