CAS is soooooooooooo hard for me. I'm not sure why exactly. I guess I love layers (like Shrek)! I tihink it's because I just want to add stuff and keep adding. I never think my CAS cards are enough for some reason. I did like this one though, I think it was because I added the red to it for some pop.
Here is one I did for the CAS color challenge a few weeks ago. I have tons of patterned paper and really like to use it, even if in a tiny spot.
I LOVE patterned paper but my style is typically CAS - how can I incorporate it without going overboard? This is something I struggle with a lot so any tips would be appreciated. TIA!
What does CAS mean? I feel dumb because it appears everyone knows but me.LOL Patti

This is me, too! I love what others do in CAS, but when I try it---even if I totally CASE it, it just doesn't look right. I always think I'm cheating the recipient, for some reason. Guess it's just not me, but I certainly enjoy what others do, even when I'm the recipient. Go figure.
Another idea...don't know if it is already mentioned but you can do the following searches:
*OLC.....means one layer cards
*cas....means clean and simple
*Clean and simple
You just have to go the the gallery link (at the top)
A good place to start as well, is to join in with the CAS challenges here on Mondays...amazing talent!!!
Thanks Ladies, You inspired me! I went out and bought some pattern paper today so I can play after everyone leaves. We are hosting our Kids and GrandKids (l6)
Wow - so many ideas here! I love doing fun, cute, CAS cards as well, and would love to browse through these ideas (later) for using patterned paper on my cards =) Thanks for sharing, ladies!

hey Marie....your gallery is great....so glad you are posting some cards for us to see.....
Welcome....
Simple design but the cards do not look like they are as simple as they are. This week's challenge was a little easier for me...I guess it felt like I was making more.
