variety of handmade cards tied with a cute ribbon
post-it note holders
covered journals (using the lab books)
everyone loves the goodies in the cello bags, so maybe chocolates,
coffee, tea, bath salts, etc.
I'd try to go for something for the "person" rather than for the "teacher" it seems teachers get so many "teacher" related gifts they could never use them.
Just finished making several of these for Teachers' Appreciation. I made post-it note pad holders out of magnetic acrylic frames (3 1/2 by 5/12 size). I cut a piece of cardstock to fit inside the frame. At the top, I stamped a strip of cardstock with various stamps, mounted it on a coordinating color and attached to the cardstock. Place inside frame and then mount the notepad to the outside (just under the stamped image). I was able to find the frames for 0.86 each at Wal-Mart. They also had the notepads in packs of 10 in colors that go very well with the Bold Brights. The teachers really liked them. Got the idea from my demo. HTH.
I've been on a tile kick. My 8 yr old made one for his teacher, it was quick and simple. Using stazon and petal point pads. Crud, I should have taken a pict. before he gave to her. He picked out the stamps. He used the bunny from tags and more, in black. the shortest stem in spring garden using the green in the earth/regals petal point, for grass, and then the little flowers in fresh fillers in the pp lightest blue around the bunny.
Very Very cute. Teacher loved it.
I have a "Starbucks" style coffe cup posted in my gallery that I did as a sample for a friend of mine who is the PTA president at our local elementary school. She recruited some volunteers and they are making 80 of them for Teacher Appreciation Week. This idea was a big hit and easy to do.
do a search for end of year teacher gifts or teacher appreciation-there has been loads about this topic and I am sure you will find just the right thing.

How about a cover for Jiffy Pop (just a big circle), stamped with "Popping by to say how much you're appreciated" You could also include a gift card to Blockbuster with that.
Or how about mints in a cello bag - "Your teaching has mint so much to Jimmy"
The covered notepads are always nice, and you could add that their teaching is truly noteworthy.
Plant with a nice gift tag, "The kindness you show helps our children grow and grow"
Gift certificate to local pizzeria - Hope your summer has a touch of pizza-z!
Location: dreamin' of summer and the beach land...

I used the RMC Kids' Cards set and unlined index cards. I stamped the images on the cards and folded them in 1/2 to make a set of teacher cards. I made each teacher a total of 20 and tied them with ribbon. They use them for quick notes to the kids. Went over really well!
