I went yesterday & got some of the fibers, cards, a couple of the stamps for my nieces to use but I didn't see the templates. Oh well, another reason to stop today since it is on my route this morning.

:( I am envious. The nearest Target is an hour away from me and it NEVER has the cool stuff EVERYBODY ELSE seems to find at their Targets. What is up with that??? How come they don't all get the same cool dollar stuff?

I found that most of the stuff they sell for that cheap is junk. Is this the case here?

I went today and found the following in addition to the items that Mea listed:
  • really great fibers in skein form
  • wood rubber stamps
    • Halloween (sets of 2 & 3)
    • Thanksgiving (sets of 2 & 3)
    • Girlie - phones, lipsticks, purses, shoes - (sets of 2 & 3)
  • Designer shape scissors
  • foam rubber stamps
    • Girlie (sets of 6)
    • Halloween (sets of 6)
    • Alphabet set (set of 30+)
    • Number set with fun icons (set of 30-ish)
I purchased the stamp-on 30-page scrapbook and also 3 skeins of the fibers. If you'd like a scan of either, please PM or e-mail me.

Kim R.

PS: They had TONS of other stuff on clearance, too.... including lots of Sharpie markers in the school supply section and those DYMO emboss labellers. Lots of fun for everyone!

bschneider5....Some of the stuff is junk, but if you look, they have really neat stuff in the $1Spot, too. I got several of the stampable scrapbooks (quite heavy duty and spiral bound) to make mini scrapbooks for gifts, and several skeins of the yarns that I am going to use as fibers on cards. I am not really into foam stamps, but bought a pack of the party ones and the girly ones for some kids' cards. I really enjoy looking there, and usually find something I can use.

I've been 'targeting' the dollar spot at my store for months since reading about all the great finds from so many here, but never found anything worth bringing home. So, when I saw this latest post, I thought, yeah, not at my store. But, I stopped by anyway, glad I did. Yeeaaaa! Guess they've caught on that this stuff will sell like hotcakes.

I got:

Gold fringe yarn to use on Christmas cards. It's a gold string with little "flags" of gold every inch, very pretty shiny gold. They also have lavender, turquoise and some multi-color in this style. There is some furry type yarns, orange and orange w/red - would be great on fall cards, but I don't usually make any.

Mini alphabet stamp set, foam mounted, block style. Tried it and they work fine. Capitals only, 5/16" high.

Stamp it magnetic frame, about 5"x7" with 4.5"x3" opening, surrounded by 1.25" of cream color border with a cloth texture, but the package says paper. Has a 3"x4" magnetic sheet on back, so will stick securely. Bought one to play with and may go back for more.

Didn't see any of the albums mentioned by other ladies, maybe they'll show up later.
:-)

I don't want to steal anyones thread, but I bought some baskets from the Target dollar spot and I wanted some more. If anyone finds them and is willing to send them to me (after I pay you of course) please let me know. One is square and it measures approx. 9x9. The other is rectangular and has four compartments. (These are exactly the right size for storing formica samples.) PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to get any of the small items you need to go ahead and get them. I went to my local target today. They have switched everything over to Halloween already. What a bummer.

My Target did not have that scrapbooking stuff but they did have the fibers which I grabbed a bunch of! They have some super cute Halloween stuff too.
