Hi!! I just got my Stampers' Sampler take ten volume 3!! I love it
especially since I am a beginner, I need all the ideas that I can.
Now~~a question~~does anyone know how or if you can still get volume
1 and 2?? The website says "sold out", but are there any other
websites to get "back issues" of Take Ten 1 and 2?? I really
appreciate your help or feedback!
I have Take Ten 2, but Take Ten 1 is out of print - Stampers Sampler hadn't counted on them being such a huge success!! I looked for Take Ten 1 on Ebay, but didn't want to spend $45 on it!! :shock:
I have 3, preordered 4. I went on the *bay* and bought vol 2. I bid on vol 1, but lost it. I wasn't going to pay over $50 for a magazine! Not even nearly that!
Does the first Take Ten have that title? I have a mag called Stampers' Sampler, Apr / May 2003. Is that the same or something different? I have a Take Ten Vol 2 that I would sell.
When I last looked, the bids were up to $39.50.
Is volume 1 really that great?! :shock:
This is a $15 magazine when it comes out but to pay double for it just seems crazy!
I have 2 & 3 and have 4 pre-ordered at my local stamp store. This just seems nutty! I'll have to watch it and see how high it goes.
:shock: What? I can't belive that! I have all 3 volumes but I didn't think they were worth that kind of money!!!! Sorry, but you will NEVER see me pay that kind on money for a magazine!
I cannot wait for volume 4!!! MamaK and I challenged each other to submit at least 5 cards and I can't wait to see if either of us made it!!! Only 1 more month!

You sent in submissions for the Vol 4 and haven't heard anything yet? I sent in 10 cards and I've not heard anything from them either....I was under the impression that if any of your submissions were chosen they would send you a free magazine. I guess I also thought you would get something in the mail ahead of time telling you that you were chosen and a magazine was on the way. (Perhaps I think too much :? )
I've been grousing to myself all week that since the mag. is due to be on the shelves in 1 month and I haven't heard from them that they didn't use even one sample I sent...how discouraging is that?! So your saying that we might not even know until the magazine is out if our submissions were chosen? You mean there's still hope?!!!!!
I can go to bed with the happy thought that ALL TEN of my samples were chosen for Vol 4 and I just don't know about it yet....ALRIGHT!!! Thank you, Emily, for the morale booster

Emily - FYI; when Volume III came out, some of the gals who had cards accepted didn't get their copies until way after it was on the shelves. Some of the stampers here were telling them their cards were in it. So, don't hold your breath that you'll know before it comes out. good luck on getting published.

I was one of those . . . I had to call 3 times to straighten out what happened to my complimentary copy . . . they'd sent it to my address from 3 years ago, despite my current address being noted on every submission I'd sent in.
I think they finally got their computer system updated and I FINALLY got my free copy, but man, what a pain.
Meantime, if you do appear, unless you've pre-ordered a copy to see for yourself, everybody else will know you're in there LOOOOOONG before you receive word from Stampington. I can't quite figure those guys out; they do everything so backwards, sometimes . . .
I submitted for Vol. IV, too . . . and like everyone else, waiting on pins and needles, just hopin'!

You can also post an ISO Take Ten 1 and 2 in the BST Forum and maybe someone will be willing to part with one there!

It is your blue "It's a boy" card using The Fine Print bib! It is on page 10 in the Take Ten section. I was so happy to see it. It was one of the ones I had marked to case.

On the website for pre-order for Take Ten it states it will be available March 1st. Can you purchase this magazine at Micheals or Jo-Ann's? Is it better just to pr-order?
