I hope I'm posting this message in the correct forum. Today I was looking for info about TAC and noticed that there was only one consultant listed in my area. Granted, I realize that she may be the only one with a web site, but I'm not sure how TAC consultants get "on the list." Anyway, I'm curious as to how TAC is doing from a business perspective . . . are they still an up-and-coming company, have they already got a foothold in the market, etc.? Any info would be appreciated.
I'm replying b/c I think "your neck of the woods" must be mine, based on your avatar.
Last fall, I wanted to buy some TAC stamps; I did a search and ended up ordering from a gal in Minnesota (I think it was MN anyway). Like you, I tried to find someone local; obviously I failed, LOL.
I can't say much about the business side of their business, but I love their stamps. As a consequence, I'll be interested to learn the answers to your questions as well.

Hi there!
Yes, we must be in the same area! It's always interesting to learn (again) that the world is kind of small. ;-)
I'm in the Charlotte area also, and I've been a TAC demo for a long time. I haven't been very active, so quit paying for the website and privilege of being listed as a demo.
Hi all,
To be listed you have to have a website
If you call Corp they will refer you to those that are Team Leaders , or Managers in your area.
Consultants websites do have the catalogs online, showing stamps only, no artwork. TAC Corp has lots of artwork along with Savvy Projects blog.
The Company has gone back to focusing on the stamper, not the scrapbooker.
They have been in business about 12 years.
There stamps are deeply etched rubber with "creative cling" to use on acrylic block.

It was me that you had found. I am so happy that you are enjoying your stamps, I knew that you would. Like Karen had said the Angel's who have the online websites are the one's who have the catties online. I think that there are enough angels around here and I am pretty sure that you can get a copy of the most recent catties that we have if you choose to have a hard copy with great examples.
The Angel Company has gone back to the stamping aspect and I absolutely love this. They tried to raise their prices however they chose to roll them back because of the recession going on and that is the most important thing that I love about this company. Right now they are having a great February special and oh and the blog hops that are going on you really need to check them out.
Again there are enough Angels out here that can help you, just ask and anyone of them would be willing to help you out.
I've seen stamps used in cards that I'd like to have, but haven't seen any way on the TAC site to view a catalog in any form. If I have to jump through hoops to see a catalog, I'll pass, tyvm.
Some have noticed that The Angel Company Catalog online is not like the other companies.
It doesn't show cards next to the stamp sets. Which I've always wanted to see.
